VS

The last three games Lazio hasnt conceded a goal.. let's hope we keep it that away against a desperate chievo. No games should be taken lightly of course... but c'mon .. makinwa is their striker ..lol ..

Lazio are on the up and a win this weekend won't move us up any spots but can potentially put us within a point behind roma depending on how their game goes. The derby may be the decider if we can overtake them again in the season. It seems like this team has found its form as foggia, muslera, matuzalem, rocchi have stood out not to single only them out.

Chievo are in third last relegation zone and losing to a team like this is unacceptable. 3 points .. no less...

FORZA LAZIO!

If we won against Napoli in away, then to lose against chievo is unacceptable. Not pushover but must be won. We have now CL spot chance and I dont want to miss this chance again. I want to another win by playing well. Attendance to match will be better I think. Now, fans trust team and I dont want to even think other possibilities.

MUST BE WON

Just want to see good performance. Chievo are still seria A team and we must respect them. I won't be very easy but if we keep the pressure and score a earlier we can demolish them. Well what the hell, I want to see 4-0 this time I just need good football and lots of chances.

And yeah don't mark Makingwa it is a waste of man marking .

Chievo have been solid of late and won away at Atalanta two weeks ago. They will be no pushover, but we must win again. Anything less than 3 points would be unacceptable here with difficult away games at Siena and Catania coming up. Forza Lazio

I wouldnt disrupt the chemistry between Ledesma and Matuzalem that we have seen recently...seems like theyr bringing the best out of eachother and our midfield has been solid because of it.  I would probably start Rocchi and rest Pandev, hes hot he deserves the start and we can afford to rest Goran against a team like Chievo.

We cannot afford to rest anyone no matter what team it is though Pandev is out of sorts recently.  Rocchi has done so well of the bench so maybe just duplicate the formation of the last two successes

I actually agree with u...we can afford to rotate the strikers! Rocchi is hot at the moment...if something doesn't go as it should Delio should bring Goran in (in Zarate's or Foggia's place)!Forza Lazio

Pandev deserves a rest...hes playing in league games,Coppa games(hes our Coppa hero-he scored every single game in that competition;you can check that out) and in the games of Macedonian NT(he is scoring almost every single game for our NT,he is one of few Lazio players that plays for his country regulary)! Rocchi is more than suitable to replace him...Goran is not a mashine...he is flash and blood! I also think that we should give Carizzo a start but I'm affraid that it will give Nando a bad signal

Good point I had missed the last couple of games, Rocchi and zarate have not been as good in my opinion.  Pandev not only scores goals but is influential in creating chances and setting up a striker.  I agree that Pandev is one the best players on the team and is why he should start every game if possible pending fitness. All teams are dangerous including Chievo so it is a bad idea especially with all the upsets this season to ever take a team lightly.  This team is on a bit of a roll now so not a time to start drastic changes.  Teams like Fiorentina and Napoli have fallen so much this is a perfect opportunity to get back up the table.

I agree that we should not make drastic changes and Zarate was not good against Napoli but he was superb against Bologna. Pandev is our No1 striker in my view but needs a rest at some point. Ur right Chievo are dangerous and are probably better than their league position at the moment so lets unleash Rocchi who looked extreamly dangerous every time he touched the ball against napoli. Fiorentina and Roma have tough games this weekend and Genoa are away so a win would surley close the gap on some of these teams. Forza Lazio

Hopefully we will score early so this won't end up like the Torino or Lecce games. 3 points here with Fiorentina, Genoa and Roma having tough away games could see us 2 points from the 4th spot with 10 games to go. Scheizen this season could end well.

        Team vs Chievo

             Muslera
Licht-Cribari-Rozehnal-Kolarov
Foggia-Matu-Ledesma-Mauri
          Rocchi-Pandev

Rocchi and Muslera must play, they simply deserve it. Mauri came in well against Juve and is better offensively then Brocchi. Zarate can later come in when their defence is tired.

What mauri will do, foggia is already there to do.
So brocchi should start, we have no other fit man to chase the balls and do the "dirty" work for the team.
Maybe Rocchi and pandev will start this one.
I hope again we will nail this "easy" team and close the gap..........looking like CL spot is alive again.....

I don't know where but I sow this formation as official.

               Muslera
Lich Sivigle Cribari Kolarov
Brocchi Ledesma Matu Foggia
         Rocchi Pandev

Anyway I would give Carizzo a chance here, I mean they have  Makingwa as striker ?!?! Also Rocchi deserves to be a starter so I would rest who ever needs a rest. Well I think with calm and smart game we can get our 3 points.
