Our midfield for the first time in a long time looked decent! I'm happy with this victory although our defense was shaky the entire game...

Glad that Kozak got off the mark!

Man of the match is between Mauri and Ledesma, but a huge shout out also goes to Hernanes who has made everyone around him better.

Now lets punish Milan! FORZA LAZIO!

p.s. Miha will one day be a good coach and while it isn't his fault he was offered a coaching assignment beyond his experience, I thought/think Fiorentina made a mistake in offering him the job.

I don't think so, because he showed what he could do at Catania, they were excellent under him, and he seems to have instilled a fighting discipline that Giampoalo has inherited. Granted Fiorentina is more pressure and greater expectation but I think it's too easy just to say that Miha lacks experience after not winning at his new bigger club yet. Instead the way I see it is that Miha if anything is a bit naive tactically at his new club IMO. It's clear as day to me that they do not look comfortable playing this one up front system, Gilardino looks more lost then Lionel Messi at Stepney Green. I honestly reckon if they played something like a 4-3-1-2 with D'Agostino being the one, and Gilardino and Lljaic being the second, which until Mutu comes back is the best they can do, then they'd be a marked improvement. I get the feeling that when they sort out any issues they have they'll go on a HOT streak and I still tip them to come in the top 7, which is why I value our victory yesterday so well.

We won away from home, and I lost my virginity

Wonderful weekend that is!

The game itself was a proper manifestation of Lazialitŕ, especially considering the harsh penalty issued by the referee, a penalty that in Bundesliga or similar would've been waved away by a laughing ref!

Great for Ledesma taking revenge on himself, and especially for Kozák, who got to score his first competitive Lazio goal

Also nice to see Hernanes in such good form, but I do wonder what the hell is Ledesma doing on the free kicks
