Lazio Travel to Florence this Sunday and after 3 brutal games we had to watch the fans have pretty much lost all hope in the team. From fan protests at formello to just the discussions on this forum .. nobody is happy! Lazio are now close to the worst team in goals against and have demonstrated they have clearly one of the worst defenses in serie a.

Surprisingly lotito has voiced that Rossi's job is safe even though his strategy and choices can be blamed for the most part, but the team is also to blame. Surely a loss against milan was in the cards after being humbled by two teams who were at the bottom of the table. Calgiari went to a team about to get relegated to jumping the table passed us and Lazio went the opposite direction from being #1.

Fiorentina will not be an easy challenge espcecially in front of their fans. One more loss would be a crucial blow to the biancoceleste at this point and I'm not sure how much more of this we can take. Hopefully the return of Lichsteiner and Foggia might add some spice to the team along with a different and less predictable strategy that has plagued us.

Gilardino will have to be marked who has been on fire since his arrival at fiorentina. Our strikers on the other hand just need to find the net. Zarate's scoresheet has been dry for a while now and my faith in him scoring faded despite his great ability to create plays and handle the ball.

Hopefully Matuzalem will come out this team and impress us since his last performance didn't give us much hope for our rather dismal midfield.

Siviglia is said to be out for this match. Thank God! It's almost insulting to field a less than mediocre 36 year old with not a recognized history to say he's experienced.

After this game we can hopefully pickup the pieces against match ups against smaller teams and finish the season with some credibility instead of another wasted season. I'm convinced even if this team does make uefa .. MAJOR changes will still need to be made hopefully with a new coach and some first class players in midfield and central defense.

What will be interesting is if they loose again poorly like the last 3 games.  Will Rossi still stay? It is a bit scary to think what might happen.  Realistically Rossi doesn't change things enough to make a difference.  Foggia has to start but beyond that defence has to be solid and we need to take advantage of scoring chances.  The thing that seperates a milan or juve is that they can play like shit for 89 minutes and take opportunity of one chance and bury it.  A full 90 minutes of solid play will be needed Firentina are back up and hunting for CL.  Only change I would make to the above is replace Kolarov and only bring him in if needed later for offensive purposes.  UEFA is not impossible so hopefully they realize this and put up a fight.  00

Well if we lose positive things can be picked out, Fiorentina are in my opinion the only genuine contender against Roma for the 4th spot and i really hope that Roma miss out on a Championship League place. Plus it would be a 4th straight loss so the pressure would really start to build on Rossi. But we really need a point or three against a good opponent to get some confidence in the team.

CL is just a dream anymore, we need to get UEFA spot at least. But for fiorentina CL is first purpose and I hope they can go instead of merda. Genoa, Fiorentina and merda are three team which fight for 4th spot, the others are fight for UEFA. And our team , even if playing bad, has to take a part in UEFA. To see Lazio fighting for UEFA will be nice. But after I saw Lazio in the second half against milan, it is hard to say that we can win, but at least I am hopeful. I hope we can say stop losing.

I like American Eagle's formation, I would use it too. About game, if it's true then if we lose against Viola Rossi will be sacked then I'm not agains losing either, I just want 2 see Rossi out, to take a random coach till the end of the season then to choose a good coach!

i like this formation, if rocchi can play then him and pandev should start and hopefully this middfield selection can create chances for our forwards but also help our defence out and hopefully not let any goals in

How about Zarate?? I think Rocchi has to start we need to capitalize on our scoring chances and he is by far the best at doing just that.  I honestly think if he was playing against Milan we would have had a great shot to score an early goal, we were all over their defense we just couldnt put it in the back of the net.  Im not saying Zarate cant score goals but lately he has not had that finishing ability, I would love to see Zarate on the wing for this game instead of striking but since Rossi will never do that, Rocchi should start for Mauro up front.

I like your idea of putting foggia and zarate on the wings. Zarate isn't a goal scorer. Rocchi and Pandev are. I wouldn't put in ledesma or dabo .. they both stink. Lichsteiner is an animal and it would be smart putting him on defense to make up for our shit defense.
