Lazio travel away against Genoa this weekend. Hopefully after the Milan clash we can face Genoa with some confidence. Genoa are now a stronger team since they've been reinforced up front with Gilardino and ex-Lazio player Sculli.

We're still missing some crucial players that can bolster this squad including Mauri, Brocchi, Dias and Cana. I'm really hoping we'll see Klose for this match and he's well rested and ready to add to his goal tally.

Genoa are capable of scoring with 28 goals so far in Serie A however they have conceded almost twice as many goals as we have with 36 goals.

Lazio have scored 32 goals this season and only conceded 19. Statistically we should stomp this team.

Historically we haven't lost to Genoa in their stadium since 1992 and hopefully that trend continues.

FORZA LAZIO!

We usually win in Genoa, and that's a good enough reason for me to think we'll win there again. Palacio is red hot though, his goal at the weekend against Napoli was brilliant. Shut him down, and we should be ok. Gilardino needs service, so we need to make sure he gets none.

Hopefully the emotion of Wednesday's match lifts us a bit, because they've been sitting pretty waiting for us since their game was cacelled. not to mention we're decimated with injuries. Looks like Hernanes and Klose should be good to go.

Klose will be back and rumours of a bust up are rubbish, klose was injured, sounds like certain Italian media have it in for lazio, it's well known lazio are hated among certain elements in Italy, which can only drive us on.

The defeat in the first round against was one of the most infuriating this season. We are better than them and I hope it shows today. If we can shut down Palacio and keep Gilardino in the leash we should do very well. Their defense is terrible.

Probable formation:

LAZIO (4-2-3-1): 22 Marchetti; 29 Konko, 20 Biava, 33 Stankevicius, 14 Garrido; 24 Ledesma, 11 Matuzalem; 15 Gonzalez, 8 Hernanes, 19 Lulic; 25 Klose.

Εarly goal by Palacio, early sub with injured Rocchi out and Candreva in (let's hope this is not a serious injury..if it is...we stay only with Klose and Rozzi...MOTHERFUCKER LOTITO).....and Hernanes not 100% to play...
Let's see what can we do...

WTF is this shit I can't believe my eyes. Is there something wrong with the pitch it looks like they are playing ice hockey ? Seriously weakened squad we are missing some players and selling our young ones and it shows. I feel another 4-0    Garrido and Stank and Marchetti at fault for both very poor goals so far. A very weak l/h side
