While Lazio seem to be flying high in 4th place the next game is in no doubt a scary one as Lazio  have to face Inter at San Siro. It will be hard to swallow losing a match or even worse our champions league spot at this poing as we're nearing the end with less than a handful of games to go. We've seen Lazio do what pretty much none of us have expected which is to sit on top of the table in CL spot for nearly most of the season. To not get a champions league spot at this point would be aboslutely crushing. Without a win this weekend Udnese steal the 4th spot, so we'll also have to hope that the same Parma that beat Inter shows up in case we don't get any points.

Reja looks like he is going full out attack using Mauri, Hernanes, Zarate and Floccari. Zarate clearly earning a spot after the Zarate-show in Sicily. Hopefully it wasn't just an anomile but he's indeed found his form and we can see some of the old Maurito for the rest of the season.

Hopefully Inter will be slightly tired from their coppa match but regardless even their bench has stars that could turn a game around. Last time we played them we beat them 3-1 but they were missing a lot of players. Hopefuly it won't be luck on our side but a determined Lazio that can prove to all of serie a and it's fans that it is a team to be reckoned with.

Away game to Inter gonna be tough but they're not invincible. Let's do what Parma did, I am feeling we can steal this game with 3 points.

We have to go into this game keen as greyhounds, tough as burnished leather, and hard as Krupp's steel.

It is truly remarkable that we are sitting here, talking about a shot at third place, really. But here we are. Inter will be very tough, they are cornered and desperate - never a good thing with players of their calibre. I don't want to get too excited though, I will remain content with any points we can take from this match even if Inter's collapse makes me somewhat more confident. What I am more concerned about is the way we go into this game. I want to see us play like we did against Catania - like we're at home, confident, without fear or concern. I want to see a determined team going for three points rather than trying to hold one. We have no need to fear anyone at this point.

Forza Laziooooooooooo!!!!

I get the feeling a lot of people are calling for a very attack minded Lazio this weekend, but I just dont see that working. now Im all for having two strikers on the pitch, we will need all the fire power we can get. Its just that I cant see a guns blazing Lazio walking away with points. even with Inter getting a little redemption in the Coppa, they are still very desperate following their CL failure and the Parma defeat. so I think that a more conservative approach (at least for the first 45) will give Lazio the best chance of success.

@ DeBez I would agree that we shouldn't be reckless, but we should be agressive. I'm saying we should have an agressive and confodent approach to this match. I'd like to see the same team that defeated Catania.

dont forget that Inter is Not catania, they have player that can really make the deference and we should be more careful on the pitch. if they cannot score it means that we are walking away at least with 1 mark

I'm very confidence with at least 1 point in this game. If Hernanes and Zarate on form, nothing is impossible

ssLaziocy kind of said it for me. " Inter is not Catania" and to approach this game like we did Catania would be reckless IMO. still I agree that confidence in our play is a necessity. as for aggression, it should be timed right and used sparingly. to be clear; by Aggression=pushing forward in mass

^^ Fine, then let's be "confident" ok?

btw latest suggests Eto'o and Motta may be out for this game.

My thought are, if Schalke 04 can score 5 times here, then why can't we hit the net? Inter are a great side, basically hung over from last season and have had two managers who are sub standard. But, they are vulnerable at the back simply because Leonardo cannot construct a defensive system to save his life. Whatsmore without Eto'o, the best forward in the world in my opinion, they are going to find it more difficult to find the net.

Ultimately, this will be our best chance to beat Inter at san siro since the 5-3 hammering in 1998, because Moratti won't put up with this come next season. Looking forward to this one, Forza Lazio.

The game is on Saturday at 15:00 local time.  believe the change was made only a few days ago. It was originally on Friday evening.

Fucking great then, they'd better be showing this on replay on ESPN when I get from work that day else I'm not going to be happy. Friday night was such a great idea.
