I think the red card to Cesar was the worst thing that could have happened to us...Initially no b/c we scored on the pk, but after that we really produced nothing and almost went about our business in a cocky fashion which cost us possession and eventually led to the tying goal. 

You could see Inter wanted it more today fighting for every ball like we've done in the past away games @ Catania and Napoli but not today sadly.  Like Aquile said Zarate was the only one who really wanted it today.  Hernanes killed me with his lackluster effort going forward and countless moments of giving away possession.  Mauri's moment of madness was the final nail in the coffin b/c up to that point we had regained our confidence and looked sure to equal the score.  Overall it is a weird excuse but the ground of San Siro (particularly in south end of the field) was dreadful and eventually cost us 3 points today.  People always make a big deal about how great a spectacle the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza is, but for years it's been a horrible kept field.  Once I heard an excuse b/c of the way it was built from the ground up that the Sun has very little effect on the ground b/c of it's distance some shit to that extent...bla bla bla THE FIELD IS TERRIBLE! 

So to summarize we lost today for at least 4 reasons:  1.  Attitude after going up 1-0 with a man advantage.  2.  Lack of creativity (specifically Hernanes) 3.  Mauri's moment of madness & 4.  The worst field known to man to play on.

Nonetheless Udinese fails to capitalize again (Grazie Amauri) and we remain in 4th with the two biggest games of the season approaching.

Given the circumstances of the game a disappointing result to say the least and given Inter's fraility points were squandered. They remain a great side and one that is not as bad as their Champions League beating suggested, but we had a perfect opportunity to day to get one foot in the Champions League and we did not take it.

Udinese lost, which is great but I don't want us qualifying for anything because of the poor results of other sides, I want us to qualify on the back of us beating the very good sides around us. We get the opportunity to do this in the next two rounds, and a I expect a minimum of four points from it...else we don't deserve CL football anyway if we can't beat our rivals.

Anyhow, one of the worst aspects of todays round was Roma winning, pulling themselves back in contention. A whole nine days before we get to set the record straight against Juventus. 

I don't know wtf is Hernanes' problem. He is a noshow in big games. He must have turned over the ball at least 7 times today.

^^ I was praying he'd score the equalizer - would have been great to see rocchigol get one in his first match back.

i love rocchi to death but i thought he was pretty useless on saturday - looked out of sorts and had a great opprtunity to bring down a through ball from the air in the box (something he normally does easily) and botched it.  As aquile said, looked out of shape. 

Regardless i'd love for him and kozak to split time up front - floccari doesn't deserve to see the field IMO.

Reja is a coach for a bottom four team that needs to save themselves from relegation, he has screwed up so many games this year , takes Zarate off the only player that can probably win the game with individual play and the fact that we were in ten would have opened up some space for him, at the end we had Mark Bresciano taking a corner kick. What a joke!!!! Ledesma was tired and should have substituted, but Reja's inability to read the game and make the proper changes have let this team down all season long. I hope they look for another coach next year, because we will never win with Reja.
