This weekend is the battle of the Serie A leaders at the Olimpico. Although Juventus really have a game in hand this game can really prove we are ready to take on anybody including the big commercial leaders such as rubentus who have been favored by the media to win the scudetto while Lazio only dreams according to them. After the Napoli game this team really needs to regroup and put on a better performance especially in front of the tifosi.

The stats for both teams are very close.

Juventus - GF - 18 - GA - 7
Lazio      - GF - 16 - GA - 8

However these stats are skewed by the fact that Juve have a game in hand. Our defense will be on their toes as Juventus has been able to find the net frequently in their last matches. Lazio desperately need the return of Dias on defense and our star Klose to hopefully add to his tally. This will be an epic match.

  FORZA LAZIO!

Ill be there.

And from what I understand from a friend, so will a lot of other people, she told me yesterday that the only tickets still available are some in tevere and monte mario.

Whilst Olimpico wont be full (never is) I imagine therell be quite a turn out.

I was also told the same when I booked tickets with listicket. The guy I ordered with was a Lazio fan too.

Ended up buying a grade higher in the Tevere (block 33AS) as there were hardly any €45 tickets left, 2 next to each other. The guy at listicket expects close to 60,000 on Saturday night.

Starting to get excited now...

this will be our biggest test so far this season, hopefully klose and dias will be back, matuz has to start alongside ledesma as it looks like he is back on form,(about time too),rocchi and klose up front,we must be tight on juve forwards, they look red hot right now,win this one and the whole of italy will at last take notice of us,the mighty ss lazio.

I like your idea of playing klose and rocchi. I think cisse needs a break and should switch it up to rocchi who i think is more likely to score.

maybe its time for cisse for a spell on the bench,i think klose and rocchi could be a great partnership, both great finishers and runners off the ball, with hernanes and matuz playing just behind them, a winning combination : - )

Unfortunately I agree with you. I think Cisse will be better from the bench when everyone is tired and with his quickness He can make problems. I suppose Rocchi is better finisher than Cisse, and with Klose we'll be more dangerous inside the box.

good idea. Hopefully Reya will do that.

I Disagree.. I htink everyone has become obsessed with his lack of scoaring recently but lets not forget that there is few guys around that have such finesse with the ball and a vison to make plays happen he is a good compliment to Klose and should not be benched for rocchi...

All rocchi will do is sit up in the box where we already have Klose who is more than enough we should be happy that cisse has embraced his new role and plays the sides pretty damn well!

The only thing Cisse needs to change is his attitude and start having some fun out there then you will see how strong of an attack we have! You'll see!!

I'm with Volaaa, I think Cisse is too useful in other aspects to be left on the bench. And against Juve we will need his speed.

While Cisse is superior to Rocchi with his tecnicall skills the latter is an old wolf in the Calcio, both options are applicable, matter of choice. But Cisse is pretty unfamiliar to the defenders yet, so maybe he's a better option after all.

I say Rocchi over Cisse. With no Klose to clean up the dirty work, Rocchi would be my choice. Its not that I don't believe in Cisse, its just seems he suffers from anxiety. He's pissy all the time and is in a rush to king shit. Rocchi is our captain and hasn't disappointed anyone anytime recently.

This will be a completely different game to that of Napoli. Juve won't come to sit back at the Olimpico like Parma and virtually every other side has done this year so I expect it to be a far more open game than that of recent home encouters. Matri is lethal and why he is not starting for the Azzurri is anyone's guess. Pirlo has been rolling back the years too. Has the makings of a fantastic game. I hope the Olimpico is packed for it.

Coz Rochhi didnt play!
I think, it is a good Idea, to give Cisse a rest and tell him, he is in no hurry! That he comes down.. But I am with everything, Reja chooses.. He will find the way and we should remember, even in the second of a possible defeat, that we are at the top and play against a Juve, where everything can happen, against or even in favour of our fortune...
But in no moment, I will regret that team, that seems at least undestroyable in recent times!

Word is Klose and Dias might not feature again!  This is terrible news but taking light in the fact that we haven't conceded a goal in 4 matches is positive news.  I would hold off on the Cisse-Rocchi debate b/c its almost a dead issue.  Two different players and lets be honest Reja would not consider benching Cisse at this point.  He's played in every match and almost every minute.  Reja spoke to Lazio Style Radio today and has this to say about Cisse:
"I am telling both the fans and himself to be patient. With respect to both the Greek and French league, it is hard to play in Serie A. Napoli has a very strong defence, even at a physical level. It is normal to find little space in those matches. Everyone has some problems adjusting when switching to the Italian league. I have total confidence in him and hope he will score a goal soon."

Should Klose not be fit again Rocchi should slot in nicely instead of Sculli that fortunate waste of space.  Had Rocchi been on instead against Naples Soccer i'm still convinced we could have stolen 3 pts against the run of play.  Sighhhh Daje Capitano.
