Sorry for the late topic start guys. .. I haven't checked the time but if its broadcasted ill be at curva nord bar.

Lazio will have it tough in turin to take on juventus who badly want the second place to make automatic qualification to champions league currently tied with milan but ahead on goal differential. After the coppa lazio seem to have taken on a laid back/experimental approach to their games even not surprisingly beating reggina the first team to drop to relegation. I hope we can end the season with a win and see this years star zarate end with some more goals to be added to his tally. I think for this one game we should treat it seriously though and field the best possible team in my opinion. This might well be delio rossi's last game so hopefully he can end his career at lazio on a positive note.

Carrizo
De Silvestri - Tuia - Diakité - Kolarov
Lichtsteiner - Ledesma - Meghni - Foggia
Zarate - Mendicino

La Gazzetta has this as the preliminary starting eleven, what do you think?

They also say that except Pandev, Inzaghi and Manfredini, also Matuzalem, Rocchi, Mauri and Del Nero aren't available.

Meghni Meghni Meghni. Probably my most hated Lazio player at the moment. No, definitely. What a complete waste of space. I'd rather us play a youth in there and see how he gets on.
I probably wouldn't have watched if it wasen't for Ranieri's sacking, their treatment of him was unacceptable for me. That gives me that little extra incentive to make an effort to watch us get thrashed by them.
As Latius points out, it could be Rossi's last game. I can only hope it's Ledesma and Carrizo's and aforementioned french crapmeister's last game for us too.

Broadcasted at 9:00am. No chance I can make it up to Curva Nord - the subway does not open until 9:00am.

The starting eleven will depend on who is least sunburnt - this is what they call calcio da spiaggia.

Tuia, Kozak and Diakite will get their chances to play for the first team. I'm very looking forward to see Tuia, they say he is new Nesta. but after Mehni I don't want any Lazio player to be compared to anyone so I just hope to see good game from them.

I hope we can take Juve tommorow. It will be a difficult task but this is the last game of the season and I want it to end in victory. I wouldn't be so dissapointed with a tie, that would at least show that we could hold juve and crush their automatic qualification against ac milan.

I'm not really convinced kozak and mendicino are high quality players .. at least not yet. The one player i've been dying to see is Tuia. Mainly because this team is desperate for a central defender and we have a highly rated prospect just sitting on the bench.

uventus - Lazio
Stadio Olimpico

Both teams come into this fixture having stopped a horrible streak of four games without a win by finally getting a victory last week.

Juventus have been grabbing the most headlines, primarily because they sacked Claudio Ranieri with two games left this season. Ciro Ferrara has stepped in and while he hasn’t changed the system he has definitely given the players a much-needed lift.

That was evident on Sunday when Juventus came away from Siena, which is a tough place to go, with an impressive 3-0 win. When asked to describe the impact Ferrara has made, Alex Del Piero said: “He gave me confidence and kept that up throughout the game.”

Juventus moved into second place by virtue of that win, reaching Milan on 71 points and overtaking them on goal difference. If the Bianconeri beat Lazio, which they have had problems doing this season, they will earn themselves a bit more money and give themselves a lot less bother in Europe – although they are already assured of their place in the Champions League.

Lazio knocked Juventus out of the Coppa Italia at the semi-final stage both at home and away in March and April, earning identical 2-1 victories. In Serie A, they held the Bianconeri to a 1-1 draw in Rome in January, making them something of a bogey team for the Turin giants.

Since winning the Coppa Italia on May 13, Lazio have struggled to close the curtain on what has been a mercurial season. Until last Wednesday’s 1-0 victory over relegated Reggina, Delio Rossi had seen his side lose each of their last four games in the League.

The Biancocelesti currently lie 10th in the table and President Claudio Lotito might consider that unacceptable despite the victory in the Coppa Italia. Therefore, Rossi could well be looking to save his job against Juventus while Ferrara will be staking his claim to stay on in Turin.

Keep an eye on: Alessandro Del Piero (Juventus) – Slotted back into the starting line up after two games on the bench, Del Piero duly repaid his former teammate Ciro Ferrara with two goals. One was a picture perfect free-kick while the other capped an excellent team move, making his inclusion this weekend irresistible.

Last season: Juventus 5-2 Lazio

Form guide: Juventus (D D D D W) Lazio (L L L L W)
Juventus (probable): Buffon; Zebina, Legrottaglie, Chiellini, De Ceglie; Camoranesi, Zanetti, Marchisio, Nedved; Iaquinta, Del Piero

Lazio (probable): Carrizo; De Silvestri, Tuia, Diakite, Kolarov; Lichsteiner, Ledesma, Meghni, Foggia; Zarate, Mendocino

Just to add to that, bet365 has the Juve v Lazio match from 2pm uk time.

I hope we can go out with a bang, but it will be a difficult game. The morale will be up in the Juve camp, they've just signed Diego for next season, one of the best up and coming midfielders in the world, and have a fresh face on the bench, rightly or wrongly, and will be already looking towards next year. Still, they have not beaten us yet this season in three attempts hopefully that records will remain because it would be an impressive one.
