Agreed. Call me crazy but I want a striker who can finish chances and score. Put him back on the youth team with mendicino or loan them out. I was hoping we can end the season on a positive note and show we can take out juventus in their own turf. |

Thats the end of our season. We finish in 10th place. Coppa Italia definately what salvaged our season but finishing tenth in the league show us that this team has plenty of work to do to be at a respectable level. Should be the end of rossi, and hopefully we will see a more determined lazio bring a more honorable position in the standings next year. Zarate is definately player of the year as he has brought quality and goals to this team that I honestly think without him we would be in a great depression. His contract above all needs to be signed.

Zarate would have buried some of those chances, thats the difference and thats why we must complete the deal. 10th place is an improvement on last year and a trophy is great, but we have work to do if we are to get up to the top six. At least we hjave euro football to look forward to now. |

You should start a thread on Lazio 2008/09 summary and Lazio 2009/10 Expectations 2-0 to a mixture of Lazio starting 11, bench, and primavera isnt a bad result even though with a bit more skill from some players it could have been very tight and interesting. Chiellini really man marked Kozak and limiting his abilities. Center backs and Center mids have to change next season imo. Ledesma just isnt good enough in my opinion and now he wants money. Siviglia, Rozenhal, i dont know why they were ahead of Tuia and Diakite. Give them the experience on a game that means so little. Its not like Siviglia or Rozenhal are good anyways.They are just okay mid table defenders. |

Hard to say how bad kozak is as he has not played much any player could have a bad day the chance that should have been an easy goal was the shot he fired completley wide right in the box.
Nedved would be a great addition to the team even with the age as it has not slowed him down much. Probably the biggest value transfer loss that Lazio ever had. Mid needs some offence badly, foggia did fine but other than that Brocchi was sending the most crosses for the strikers

Its fair to say that Kozak had difficulty because he has gone from primavera to playing against Inter and Juves backline, but if he stays with the top team next season hes going to be steadily playing against strong backlines. He should be loaned out to serie B so he can gradually develop his scoring touch and eventually play for the first team, its no rush really. |

its fair enough to see the performance of kozak last nite..remember he is just graduate from primavera..and he just turn 20 years old last weekend..he made a few chance in the front..and unfortunately chiellini played very well last nite to mark kozak for sure... 07
