This sunday Lazio face off against last placed team Lecce who have only won 2 games this season so far. God help us if we don't win this game. I think we should win this without our top players and maybe give them a rest for the following match against Udinese which could be a defining game against the team that stole our CL spot last year and are proven to be a top club in Serie A. Winning the next two matches would also put us back into a CL spot which would be a nice Christmas present before the break and hopefully Lotito will also come bearing more gifts with the mercato.

Lecce have scored 11 goals and conceded 23 compared to Lazio 19 goals scored and 9 conceded. I'd say we should walk away with 3 points pretty confidently because anything less would be disgraceful.

FORZA LAZIO!!

Correction, game is Saturday Dec. 10 (My Birthday) and yes Lazio should have no trouble gift wrapping this one for me

Cosmi has just been placed at the helm which should make little difference, but a new coach can always lead to a surprise or two.... even one as bad a Cosmi.

Klose can rest, but with our injuries I feel like we are already playing with Lazio B much of the time. so I wouldnt like to see too many Prima players just yet.

A game like this one with Novara...I still believe that some Primavera players should be given a chance....

Glad to see Cosmi getting his first match with a new club against us once again. I'm sure he still remembers when we fucked him on his Palermo debut. Anything less than 3 points will be a travesty.

I expect an easy win. Simple as. No reason why we could not repeat our performance from last weekend.

Klose has a contusion to the right ankle which obviously is not good news. He missed the Napoli game, did not score against Juve or Vaslui, and astonishingly enough missed an open net against Novara. That is four games without goals. He cannot rest, he needs to score.

I'm not up for resting players. The Cesena game last season still haunts me and to be fair we are not the kind of team that can allow itself to rest players , even if the opponent is Lecce. Strongest side available with Rocchi leading the line...

No Klose practically confirmed.. so its going to be rocchi and Cisse which i think is good enough..

Dias and Matu still out to which is just horrible news but hopefully diaz will be back for Udinese

Also we are risking Konko right now which if we were playing a decent team would leave us pretty much fucked...

Hopefully our few healthy guys can pull this one off against Lecce

Klose's incomprehensible miss against Novara makes more sense now. The defender gave him a little kick that slightly threw him off balance and distorted his ankle. That is why he protested so much afterwards. And that is why he is now suffering from contusion. It does look like he is out.

If Rocchi is not started Reja is a arse of a coach.  Maybe Klose should be rested.  We need him more on Thursday.

Given our great away form this season I reckon we will pull three points out of the bag here. After this it's Udinese and Chievo before Christmas, which potentially could see us right up at the sharp end come the new year. Domestically it is shaping up to be another very solid campaign.

I agree, after his performance against Novarra he deserves a sure start. He earned it by scoring two goals in 1 game after barely been played this season.

I totally forgot on Weds Dec 21, they are playing all the matches that were cancelled from Week 1. The beauty of this round is that we should be able to take Chievo, while Udinese will be facing Juventus. We could potentially see Lazio in 3rd if everything goes well.
