I'd like to know what Lotito's minimum expectations are for S.S. Lazio under Delio Rossi, because after last season, once we had lost four in a row, I would have been hunting for a new coach. Rossi just seems totally incapable of keeping any consistency in the side. I don't realistically expect a scudetto anytime soon, but to be in eleventh place with a negative goal differential after the investments made to the side! We have to win against Lecce to avoid being dragged down to their level...we are only ten points above them with 14 games left to play.

My Lineup:

                  MUSLERA

DeSilvestri - Diakite - Rozehnal - Radu

  Lichstiner - Matuzalem - Kolarov

                  Meghni
Zarate Rocchi

Let Pandev rest and come in full charge in the second half with foggia and ledesma.

I can accept this lineup but Pandev for Rocchi will be better I think.

I like this one, Latius!
It's something new and i would like to see Lichtsteiner and Kolarov in the midfield.

Pandev is suspended as I know and Mehni is injured. Rossi will never use Lich and Kolarov in the mid. SO i guess this will be the close one:

                   Muslera
Lich Sivigla Rozendhal Radu

Foggia Matu Ledesma Mauri

         Zarate Rocchi

Foggia has to start. He has played with energy that has been unmatched by any of the Lazio players recently. I would go like this

                                  Carrizzo

    De Silvestri Diakhite Rozenhal Radu

    Foggia Ledesma Dabo Kolarov

                       Rocchi Zarate

De Silvestri needs to play more i think. I know Lich has been outstanding but De Silvestri has been hailed as one of the great prospects for Italian football and out future 'Nesta' so i think he should play. I take your point JoFo that Rossi wont play kolarov in the mid, but he should give him a go there as he can cross a ball well and with Rocchi up front he could get on the end of those crosses. Carrizzo has to get back in there someone, maybe this is just the game to do so. Just a thought

Well we all know it's about fuc*ing time to win.
I would be satisfied with this lineup:
                    Muslera
Lichsteiner Siviglia Rozehnal Radu

                  Ledesma

      Matuzalem Mauri

                   Foggia

           Zarate Rocchi

I'm not sure Ledesma is gonna be fit for this match,so Dabo could play his position.

I would leave ledesma out. I'm hoping that matuzalem will start taking a more prominent role on the team. We need someone to control the mid and i'm sick of the team having to depend on ledesma. He's takes up 90 minutes of field time and doesn't contribute much. I can't understand for the life of me why we're trying to renew his contract. LET HIM GO!

Wouldnt entirely disagree with that, although even though it's like 1/100, we can't ignore Kolarov's attacking threat when we are in need of some magic or luck. Certainly Pandev needs a rest.

To be honest I don't think we look much like winning the midfield battle when he's played this year .. I'd probably have dabo in there he doesn't disappear as soon as things go wrong

Ledesma is still hurt and theredore out (as far as I know). Dabo is a shadow of the player he was even a year ago when he came back. I think a mid of Matu, Brocchi, Foggia and a d with DeSilvestri , Diakite Rozenhal/siviglia and Radu. But again, its a different team every week. And btw, Carizzo must start again or we risk ruining him.

According to Lazialita, Carizzo was approached by a spanish club and a german club according to his agent. I think if they don't put him in .. he will be out the door.

Here's a classic lecce match from the Lazio golden years. A few things to observe:

1) look at how they score on a corner, something the current team can never do
2) look at the precision of the shots on net
3) inzaghino scores a beautiful header at the end
4) lucarelli was an idiot back then too!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbpg2XsgvEI

That team was pure class. Thats the quality lazio that we're currently soooooooooooooooooooooo far from, in fact I think the only thing we have in common with that team is inzaghi.
