This will undoubtedly be a tough game as Palermo has been able to make a point that they are a strong side beating inter in their first match of the season. Like us, they fell to smaller clubs losing to Atalanta in their second match, however beating Cagliari in their last match.

They have a knack for scoring goals since as they've scored 7 in their last 3 matches but also conceded 6.

I thought after they sold pastore the team would take a dive but they are still a side to be reckoned with.

Mauri, Biava, Radu and Del Nero will be out for this match and it looks like Stankevicious too after not looking too impressive in the last match against Cesena. Konko and Lulic look to be in the starting 11.

Hopefully Reja will get the fans off his back and collect a full 3 points.

Palermo are a decent side, with terrifyingly good wingers. But, these are the teams we need to beat to climb the table!!

Forza Reja! Forza Lazio!!

Palermo seem to be effective in attack indeed and that worries me a bit because Marchetti has been average at best. That is not my final verdict on him but I was worried about his form already in the summer and he has done very, very little so far to relieve my concerns. He better show some great saves instead of fumbling on or letting every single ball in that comes his way. He has not made a single proper save yet. I would really like to keep a clean sheet in this game and see Klose score again. That is all.

Palermo in good shape and win with many goals and we lose some in defence (Biava - Rado) at first I hope keep the closing defence and then think to attack - Cheer for win  .

Palermo is one of those teams that i would say are on par with us like an udinese or fiorentina as they are usual teams competing for a spot in europe.

Beating a side like this will give us some more confidence which is what we need right now.

the best lineup for me (2-4-4)

Bizzarri; Konko, Diakité, Dias, Lulić; Ledesma, Cana, Matuzalém, Hernanes; Cissé, Klose.

3 solid DM, we must control the ball and the game, and I trust our attacking players to score at least one goal.

clean sheet please.

Palermo has always been known as a team who plays really good as a host, and for having great attack and ability to score goals. But, when they play away from home they usually concede very easily, so this game shouldnt be a problem for our strikers. Just to press them from the start and score one early goal and make the game our own. Then they have to play more in attack which makes room for Cisse and Klose, who runs so fast that i cant believe it sometimes, man is 33 years old. I think our defence will show progress in this game, with Marchetti too! Klose scores, maybe Hernanes, i would like Cisse to see getting one! Forza Lazio from SRBIJA

I'm afraid of Palermo midfield, who can dominance the match,Because with 4-2-3-1,our midfield are too deep (the DM),and when we are ready for counter attack ,there are a little Help in attack by the players. only one striker, one AM, and 2 winger/side midefielder.

Barretto,Pinilla, abel Hernandez are the players we should keep at bay. also Miccolli, who are despite their age, still a Lethal Finisher. Palermo in many games are try to get Free kick in near penalty area, just outside the box,so Miccoli can use the chance to score goals.

It will be a though Game.

I prefer Diakité to Biava.

Against Cesena Mobido clear from the ground Mutu despite of goal.

C'mon Mobido...

I think that sums Palermo up quite well in recent season. Away from home they have not been able to maintain their good home form, generally. That being said they have quality so I'd like to see our midfield get a firm grip on the game to limit any opportunities they may have, especially on the counter.

I have the feeling G.Sculli will punish them like he did twice last season.
Want to see Tomasso Rocchi in this game and save Klose or Cisse for UEFA Europe League against Sporting.

Hello to all..First of all a big BRAVO for this forum that connects all the Laziali from all over the world..
First post in the forum and hope to bring good luck with an easy win...Home match against Palermo....After the win away against Cesena with a backup from the 1-0...
Palermo with a caretaker manager/coach,Devis Mangia....A first point for Lazio when Edy Reja is an experienced coach who knows what Serie A and pressure means.
In the squad now,the usual danger-man of Rosaneri is Miccoli.Having a player marking him in all the places of the field (for example Cana who knows how to ''take care'' with tackles   ),will block Palermo's passing and connection between the lines..
Another point, the new GK of Palermo,Tzorvas, which can not fully communicate with his defence yet....And a GK,that Cisse knows his weaknesses and abilities because they were ex-teamates in Greece..Simple details?Μaybe yes...maybe no...
I believe that with a good starting line-up with strong midfielders that can hold the possesion of the ball and with Cisse-Klose double power (Cisse with his speed and Klose with his killing instinct in the box) we can take what we want..Of course I am afraid of our defence as we all are....but with stong midfielders, how can they come to our defence?
A good line up in my opinion...With my favorite 4:3:3 would be like this(or some people say it 4:5:1) Marchetti - Konko,Dias,Diakite,Lulic- Ledesma,Cana,Hernanes, and 3 up front. Cisse,Sculli,Klose..Strong in midfield, strong and quick in attack...But if Reja will play again 4:4:2 change Sculli with Brocchi and you have the four in the middle
Thanks for the change to talk with all of you..I've been watching the forum for a long time and I thought that writing and chat with all of you...would be better
Cheers to all and FORZA LAZIO..

P.S.Where is Stendardo?I believe he would be useful too...He is a damn fighter....
