As yesterday was a black day for Lazio and football in general as it signified corruption still exists when Napoli undeservedly lost to a motivated biancocelesti team, we need to look forward to the still possible chances of making CL. Maybe our game didn't work in our favor, but it also did not work in the favor of roma and udinese who are probably our most likely competition for the 4 CL spot.

One thing is for sure, i've gained more confidence in this team from yesterday's match than our 1-0 win against Cessena. We a determined, attacking, creative Lazio yesterday that showed the so-called scudetto contenders that we still have it.

Next at the Olimpico, Lazio face Parma who have just lost to relegation bound Bari 2-1. We will be missing Biava in central defense but no worries as we will have a the very reliable Stendardo in his place. Surprisingly Hernanes was not part of the plans on sunday's match against Napoli so hopefully he will be well rested and unleashed against Parma.

The other match to keep an eye on is Udinese - Roma. This will probably be the only time it will be fine for Roma to win as they will unlock the door again for our CL hopes and then it will be up hoping the team can hold its spot.

FORZA LAZIO!

Or a draw between Udinese and Roma would benefit us more...Roma wont get close enough for us , and udinese wont get far either...If we win ofcourse..Forza lazio all my prays for this team !

i am unsure on how i want that match to finish becouse if roma win then it will lift their spirit and they will be in the run but if they do win then lazio could go ahead....so either way its good and bad but more importantly WE MUST WIN THIS!!!

I'm hoping for a draw and the third point says off the table. Parma will be tough though, we have to play with the same intensity a we did against Napoli - but i would like a more agressive formation.

Udinese actually have a harder remaining schedule if you ask me. The only thing that scares me is they play Milan on the final day and I'm really hoping the scudetto hasn't been decided by then.

I expect us to win this one. Parma have been going down slowly but steadily and I predict the change of coach will not make a difference just yet if ever this season for them. We are without Mauri, Biava and Matuzalem but Ledesma and Radu are both back. Garrido has been quite alright in the last two games so it will be interesting to see how the defense will be lined up. Not to forget can Rocchi finally make it to the bench at least.

Parma are desperate for points and with a new coach. That scares me.

They also have Amauri who's starting to find his footing again, not to mention some guy named Crespo who always seems to haunt us with each passing day.

The skill of Giovinco should never be underestimated as well.

This is by no means an easy 3 points...We will need to play like a hometeam should.  (Agressive going forward and go for the jugular...Agressive in formation too would be nice...Perhaps 2 strikers? HA!)

I see, Mike, but I am confident about winning this one way or the other. We have been looking good recently and I think Reja is doing his best not to let the team become daunted after the bitter loss against Napoli. If we go with two strikers let them be Floccari and Kozak. Zarate did not score on Sunday so his excessive dribbling was inexcusable and he needs to be benched again.

that would be perfect Rocchi-Floccari up front would be a dream come true, but il Capitano off the bench will probably have to do

This one is going to be tough. Parma refreshed with a new coach will be fighting for the points to recede themself from relegation zone. They have enough quality in their squad and are capable of surprises when least expected. No one expected them to rape juve on their home turf. Lazio, on the other are entering the match after a painful loss, nevertheless I believe they still have the will to fight for the CL, Udine's result should have encouraged them. Reja is a pedantic coach, but we should enter this game with the mentality of a CL spot contender and try to hold the ball, create chances and not sit back and hope for a shaky 1 0. Not sure if Il Capitano will be a starter, hope to see him in the second half a least. I am curious to se our attack with FLoccari+Kozak.

If I become the coach of Lazio the squad against Parma will be:

                            Berni

   Garrido       Stendardo      Diaz        Radu

                         Ladesma
          Brocchi                        Foggia
                         Hernanes

               Floccari             Rocchi

                        Forza Lazio

This looks like a lineup Ballardini created. Vattene.
