This weekend Lazio wll faceoff against Parma who are currently tied for the 10th place spot in the standings with 12 points while our Lazio are 3rd with 18 points. Parma

Parma's most credible game this season was defeating Napoli 2-1 at San Paolo. However they've been thumped by Milan, Juventus and Fiorentina. If we thought our defense could use improvement Parma's conceded 17 goals this season to our 8 and have scored 12 goals this season to our 15.

Considering Parma's likelihood to concede goals and the fact that this this game is on home turf we SHOULD walk out with 3 points.

FORZA LAZIO!

Giovinco has been on fire this season. I dare guess without him Parma would be a lot lower in the rankings. The fact that they have conceded 17 goals gives me hope. Perhaps Cisse will finally find the back of the net. Seriously, though, their coach has threatened us with a nasty surprise but I do not see any a reason why we should not grab three points from this game.

Floccari!
don't know about you but I really miss him. he gave us 16 goals in Year and a half - not bad at all. great striker!

interesting if Crespo will be in the squad for the game..

obviously must win, but I know what happened against Catania.. We're clearly not good enough in Olimpico, even against damn Zurich and Vaslui. dont know why.. Hopefully things will change quickly.

Deja Lazio!

Floccari is a great player, personally id have kept him instead of signing Cisse.

I have heard that he is injured though and may not play? Im not sure, just something my friend told me.

Im worried about Giovinco, Parma seem good going forward providing he is involved, but as mentioned above they do concede alot so hopefully we can capitalise on that.

In comparison to the games after this (Napoli and Juve) this one should be relatively easy.

Hahahah Flocari too?!!! You know what I think Lazio should have signed my Grandma Instead of Cisse she has much more life experience and can cook a great Roast chicken!!

We need to detsroy Parma this Sunday it will be tough but if we get our defence playing well i think everything else will take care of itself.. getting back a player or two would be nice and maybe taking Zauri to a retirment home and dropping him off there would be a nice idea as well..

Also, I love Marchetti these days i thought it would be tough for him to fill the shoes of Muslera but he just keeps getting better!

With no disrespect to Floccari, if we had him instead of Cisse, we'd be far too static. And besides, unlike Cisse, Floccari is invisible when he doesn't score, whereas Cisse serves the team even when he doesn't score.

As for marchetti I'll say it again Marchetti>Muslera. Fidatevi

Agree with this, i liked Floccari, but Cisse can be even better for us.    And yeah I'd imagine Floccari will be injured for this, pretty sure he hasn't even been making their bench recently so that'll be why.  I predict 2-1 us, I think Parma's weak defence can overshadow our weakish home form to win it for us. Hernanes and Dias to score.

Given our lack of options up top I would not mind Floccari being in our squad right now. Kozak is clearly not trusted by Reja as he gets next to no chance while Rocchi has had 6 minutes in Serie A this season. Cisse and Klose are carrying a lot of weight for us in terms of playing time.

Still, I'm expecting a tight game. We have not played well at home this season. You could put forward the argument that teams come and sit behind the ball, but clearly that is not always the case as Zurich attacked more than we did last night in the first half.

Giovinco is their danger man. God knows why he is not playing for a side challenging for the higher spots in the league. A great talent who nobody seems to want. Then again this is Serie A and fantasy players are often seen as a luxury, check Baggio at Brescia and Bologna for example.

As you say that, truly Gio is a danger man but was given not the chance of Development at Juve he needed and wasted so much time...
Parma was knocking, as they have room for him to develop, now is his first real season where he seems to be THE great deal for his team upfront.. now the top spot clubs will calcuate the potencial against the risks ...
Funny as you said that, Gio was offered years ago to our Lazio side, when he was still young, under 20 I think. And Lotito meant Thanks, but no thanks, he is too small
As I remember.. funny, but not funny as we could have loaned him out instead now and get a better player back! years ago..
But thats football guys..the same was with Kaka offered to Leverkusen before Milan got him..
Thats bad Karma , guys..
I want a Nesta and a Veron and a Poborsky  and a Nedved and one like Piojo in our side again!  I miss those days, But I am confident, we are in our way, steps by steps

Giovinco sure would look nice in skyblue, no? He's a symbol of what's wrong with Italian football. It seems as though they'll sign any Brazilian or Argie 18 year old and leave a Giovinco to molder on the bench. Just doesn't make sense.
