It seems that our salvation partly relies on the failure of other teams as we have to pray just as hard that atalanta, siena and livorno continue doing crap that we can muster a rare win. Reja has admitted that relegation is possible and being just 3 points above the drop zone its pretty obvious. We haven't found our form all season and i doubt we ever will .. the proof is there that we have a group of players that just aren't the calibre to bring this team up the table. If one particular romanista realized this in the winter at least they could've reacted and turned things around but it seems that lotito based the rest of the season on hope rather than logic.

We couldn't beat the most weakest viola fielded all year despite having our own setbacks and we HOPE that this team can one day win at least 2 in a row but in any case credibility has gone out the window a long time ago as the once great roman side keeps reaching new lows.

Sampdoria haven't had the best of luck recently either and they seemed to have stumbled themselves but still ahead of us with a comfortable 14 points and a chance to make europe making them much more credible that Lazio. Hopefully Reja can find a new formula which doesn't include Mauri, Dias, Biava and Siviglia and the rest of the pathetic pieces of shit that shouldn't even be wearing the shirt PERIOD.

Reja has still done better than Ballamerda with 1 win, 1 loss, 1 tie .. but needs to keep the wins coming to keep this team alive because one pointers are not enough to get by anymore either.

Hopefully we can see 4 defenders at the back because Sampdoria has strikers who can score unlike ours with Pazzini at the top of the scorers table in 3rd with 12 goals. However they have conceded as much as they have scored with an equal 32.

Our record however is pretty shameful with 21 goals scored and 28 conceded. However our record still remains a less than 20% chance of winning .. hopefully lotito's plan of miracles happens this weekend.

FORZA LAZIO!

We hardly win at the Marassi, and won't do this time either.

I'll be back on this thread on Saturday for the lineup debate. Toodle-pip.

The reality is that this game depends more on who shows up on our end rather than theirs and for how long. Samp are far from unbeatable but  they are good at home. Hopefully , with Radu back we can pick up some points.

7 5 0 for Doria at home  Well there is always a first time right  To put the joke aside: very very tough visit. I say a draw is not a bad result.

My opinion exactly.

I dread Sampdoria away. Especially now. Seven wins, five draws, 0 defeats and some dam good displays in their from them as well. Thats a 58% winning percentage, and to make matters worse they've only conceded 7 goals at home, which is the best record in the division.

Last time we won here, September 12th 2004. Doesnt exactly look good does it.

I don't know what to expect.  But honestly, I don't wanna see us score early on if it means that we will play defense for the rest of the game.  Fiorentina was one of the worst games ive ever watched and I never wanna see that shit ever again.

Some good news, Reja will only be diffidato and not suspended. Samp will be without Zeigler.

Yes but Cassano is back and he definatley adds an edge to the team as he's capable of both creating chances and scoring. This was one player that we should have pushed for when we had the chance, then we wouldn't have to see Mauri week after week ruining chances.

Lotito isn't smart enough to pick up a player like cassano.  He isn't smart at all actually.  Lots of people on this forum are calling for zarate to get sold even if its for 20m but if it does happens what will lotito do with that cash.  I can see him buying 10 useless players out of there prime for 2m each.  Fucking has beens.  I can see him buying philippo inzaghi, roberto carlos and christian vieri.  Hell, I could even see lotito signing deigo maradona and zidane on a 2 yr contract. Hes just such a fucking retard that i can't stop thinking about ways to kill him.

Ledesma picked a minor injury against Viola but it did not get worse after all. I am relieved. Better him than Roberto "I bet somebody has been missing me" Baronio. Radu has finally been training normally with the squad this week. Kolarov being absent he has been playing LB in the training and to be honest I would not mind trying Biava and Stendardo as CBs and Kolarov in LM position. 4-4-2. No trequartista, no Mauri. Worth a shot at least.

Odds are not good but we can't win if we don;t try to win, we have proved time after time that holding onto a 1-0 win or holding onto a draw just doesn't work.  Attack for 90 minutes!!
