Happy New Years again everyone! Lazio kick off the year with a relatively easy game as Siena are pretty much in relegation zone and have only manage to scrounge 3 victories this season. I'm the team is well rested after a break and ready to come back with a vengeance. This game should be no contest for Lazio.

Lazio -  GF  - 24 - GA - 13
Siena - GF  - 16 - GA - 14

Reja will have to do with much needed players. Hernanes and Konko potentially could be sidelined and also likely for Marchetti. It could be a while before brocchi returns and even longer for Mauri still. I'm hoping to see this team in full force in the second half of the season to make dreams come true for 2012.

FORZA LAZIO!

Would be nice to start off with a bang here, not just a win, but an all-round victory.

Siena is owned by that douchebag mezzaroma, the same riommer that offered his team a cash bonus to beat Inter to try to help riom to win the scudetto. We all know how that ended: Nun e sucesso!

Hopefully we get our proper starting XI back on the pitch before the season ends. It is severely frustrating with all these injuries and lineup shuffling throughout the season. It never seems to end. At least Dias and Hernanes are on the bench not in bed and Marchetti only needs to regain match fitness.

I expect nothing less than three points here. Reja tried three different formations during the week, as 4-3-1-2 is apparently not an option without Hernanes, and 4-4-2 looks most probable:

1 Bizzarri; 5 Scaloni, 33 Stankevicius, 20 Biava, 26 Radu; 19 Lulic, 24 Ledesma, 27 Cana, 7 Sculli; 25 Klose, 99 Cisse.

Better win this.

Klose to score, 1-0! We've been doing just fine away from home this season, it really seems to suit Reja's tactics of backing down really well!

Official line ups
SIENA (4-4-2): 25 Pegolo; 6 Angelo, 13 Rossettini, 19 Terzi, 3 Del Grosso; 23 Brienza, 36 Bolzoni, 14 Gazzi, 17 Grossi; 11 Calaiò, 22 Destro. A disp.: (12 Farelli, 80 Contini, 21 A. Rossi, 5 Codrea, 70 Mannini, 83 Reginaldo, 18 Gonzalez) All. Sannino

LAZIO (4-4-2): 1 Bizzarri; 5 Scaloni, 33 Stankevicius, 20 Biava, 26 Radu; 19 Lulic, 24 Ledesma, 27 Cana, 7 Sculli; 25 Klose, 99 Cisse. A disp.: (84 Carrizo, 3 Dias, 21 Diakitè, 81 Del Nero, 15 Gonzalez, 8 Hernanes, 9 Rocchi) All. Reja

Why Diakite is on the bench and Stankevicius is on???Why do we play with two defensive midfielders (Ledesma and Cana) and not with an trequartista???

Let's see....

Its in my mind too....WTF???Diakite is our best defender this year, the team was rested on holidays so he is not tired at all and the defensive duo Stanke and Biava are more slow than a turtle...WTF.......We play against Shit-iena...not Barcemerda...

All Reja's fault in my opinion.. another shitty fucking lineup that couldn't even be competitive in serie b. Why the fuck is Diakite and Dias on the bench??!! A hurt Dias is 1000x better than Stank. Cisse has too go he fucken sucks. I would take Zarate back in a second if it means Cisse can take is lazy ass back to where he came from. I'm not even gonna start about Sculli.

Make Stankeviscious pay for his own plane ticket back to Rome. Lighten the load a little bit. Why does Reja select him over Diakite? And Scaloni over Cavanda? Try playing Cavanda at right back instead of forcing him at right wing or left back, then claiming he's not ready for this level of play when he flounders out of position.
