we caught Udinese and are hard on Catania and Bologna. Avanti Cosi!

Both of the latter teams have shown an improved consistency in the latter half of the season, I think that both will remain in Serie A as a seven point advantage over Atalanta is decent for them at this stage of the season. My concern is our next run of fixtures, Milan then Napoli then Bologna, Roma. All difficult games so its a step forward that we have won for two rounds on the trot, for only the second time this season, before we begin this difficult period.

Milan away is a game which as Signori points out we just don't win. The 1998 win was at home by the way, always been a nightmare ground for us when facing Milan but we have to take something from this one to keep the momentum up.

For once this season the team won when their expected to, good result. Who would have expected Cruz to put himself to good use.

Indeed, if ever there was a time then this is it in many respects from the perspective of Milan's side. Moral could be low, especially if Inter beat Roma saturday night to maintain a now four point gap. And, anyone who saw one of their last home games against Chievo will know that they are struggling to break opponents down even with their best players on the pitch.

Lazio 2-0 Siena

The Aquile finally won at home as they defeated Siena 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. The only goal of the game came in the sixth minute when Stephan Lichtsteiner found the target. In the 72nd minute former Inter striker Julio Cruz secured Lazio all three points as he netted his side's second.

A rather good result. It is annoying not to have been able to watch how we played but by the sound of it we pretty much dominated the pitch and created numerous dangerous chances. Could have been 3-4 goals instead?

We are on a winning streak. Two games, can you believe it. We moved up on the table as well so things are looking good. For now. The struggle continues.

I am pretty happy with what I saw in the highlights. So many chances: I don't remember anything like it this season. Well done! It Milan's turn!
