This weekend the Biancoceleste travel to Siena to hopefully win against a rather motivated team who just recently won the tuscan derby against Fiorentina. As we've pretty much seen throughout all the games, none can be taken for granted. The lineup hasn't been consistent in the last few games as Delio Rossi is looking for his perfect lineup. Win this weekend could put Lazio in even better standing closer to where they sat for a good portion of the season on top.

Despite not getting the ideal result in the lecce stalemate and the loss to bologna the team looks improved since. Even the Napoli game which Lazio dominated, the team looked sharp despite a rather lucky own goal from Napoli. Since Siena has no reason to play defensively and will most likely be trying to gain 3 points this should be an exciting match.

Most of us have our sights for the big match in two weeks which will be the talk of this forum. Things are definately looking better for us as our rivals are sitting in relegation zone. I think the tables have definately turned for both teams since this year is the true Roman side who are sitting in good position and the other that have psychological problems to debate. The derby is always the derby and it will not be a game taken lightly by either side, but lets hope their pattern continues to make our victories that much sweeter.

Hopefully the return of Matuzalem could see a positive change in the midfield and a possible change from ledesma whos had a rather dismal season.

Sucks to not have pandev for the siena match but at least he'll be well rested for the derby. Now we get to see how Rocchi performs with Zarate and how their chemistry goes. I wouldn't mind seeing foggia used as a trequartista since he is great at creating chances.

I hope Rossi goes with something like this, although i'd truely want to see someone in for siviglia but rossi seems weary to try someone new in that position... not sure why.

Its' been mentioned before and was tried in the chievo match. I think both of these players have speed which they can carry the ball and come from defense which means they can also take the role as defensive midfielders. If it's a free kick then kolarov is a solid option. Lichsteiners has brought the ball plenty of times to the net and I won't be surprised if that guy scores a few goals this season. I'll take kolarov and lichsteiner in the mid anyday over brocchi, dabo, mauri or manfredini.

Moving kolarov to mid means radu can play left defense. Moving lich to right mid means desilvestri to right mid. This also means we don't have to comprise those positions for players like the midfielders I personally would rather not see over these two. Behrami was originally a defender and did an amazing job in the mid so why can't we try the same for these players ?

The only player I think we need a solution for is siviglia. That guy not only isn't a good defender but even managed to score a goal on our own net. I know this happens and players get unlucky . .but he hasn't impressed me last season .. and he hasn't impressed me this season.

Is DeSilvestri going to wanto to stay if he's always second choice to lichsteiner ? Or is Kolarov going to want to stay if he's second to Radu ? These are great players and should be included instead of the ones we complain about every week.

I am pretty convinced that we should start Rocchi and Mauri, who play simply football, and then bring in Foggia in the second half to torture the tired defenders.

We play this one home and it is good if we win for teams morale before the derby. Getting 3 points from matches like this one is very important especially when we play them home for standing on the top table and a CL spot. Before the season I don't think that we can finish from 4-1 but now when I see that teams like Roma have worst season ever I think possibility is big. The key for a good spot this season is purchasing a good defender, world rank and a one more mid for a solid game.

And did u consider if matu is fit and match ready or not?
Ur lineup is cool but it is just ur wish, we can make 2 line up here, one will be our wish and the other what we know the coach will likely play .

Didnt he surprise us in the chievo game? he played lich and kolarov on the wings up front, but that will not always work.

I am excited and eager to see how rocchi and zarate will combine, i think it will produce more goals........rocchi is the best finisher we have and zarate can distract defenders and open spaces for rocchi.

Lich has clearly taken tha position from de silvestre and i do not know how many here that disagrees with that, between him and zarate it is hard for me to decide who is the best signing  for us and sure he can score too.The derby may be the perfect time for him to score.
Radu had a slight edge over kolarov and i will be comfortable to see any of them play and pushing kolarov up will be good.
