FORZA LAZIO Bravo ragazi good job. I must admit I was nervous in the first half, but second was terrific. No words lads, no words. Great to see Rocchi back in shape, mamma mia Rocchi Zarate Pandev , Rossi will have troubles to choose. Mehni was dog shit ( that guy should go with the rest), Dabo also we really need some in the mid, Matuzalem must return quickly. What a game before the great derby.

Till Latius put the highlights I'll put something here. Bad quality but you can see the goals and that only matters.

Zarate's free kick is worthy of Del Piero, truly, first class. Are we going to be able to keep this guy? Honestly, he's an absolute phenomenon - this guy could be a future golden ball, seriously, he's 21!!!!!!

If I know something about Lotito is that he will keep him 4-5 years and when he got true football mature he'll sell him for big bucks. In lotito eyes there's only money- no good players, he'll be happy with average team. But Yeah Zarate is like having Messi before he is world known, this kid will be one of the great and if we want to keep we must add more quality to our team, I don't believe that it's Zarate dream to play by Mauri and Ledesma. I hope that we will do some cleaning in January and get rid of unnecessary players and let more space to young and quality ones.

Other than the 3 point, another good news is that we only played Rocchi and Brocchi for 45 min so they can be physically ready for the derby next week.  Not to mention Pandev who got all the rest he can.

Bravo Delio Rossi.

Zarate's free kick goal is just another reason why we can do without Ledesma.

Thanks JoFo for posting the highlights, I added them to the homepage! I just got back from Niagara Falls and had to follow the game on my girlfriends iphone because the damn hotel didn't have a channel with the game. From the highlights and what others told me it looks like siena controlled most of the game in the first half. I can't really say much for the game other than we won 3-0, we got 3 points putting us 2 points from first and the merde drew putting them 1 point from relegation zone.

I thought zarate topped the charts for top scorer until i saw milito from genoa scored a hatrick.

Does it seem that Zarate has a good relationship with his teammates? I only ask this because after Rocchi's 2 goals today, when the players were celebrating, I did not see Zarate join in. I don't know if maybe there is some unfriendliness between him and the other players.

I'm not trying to start a rumor here, it's just something that I observed.

I thought the same thing but maybe he's still new and he does have that language barrier. After all the only people he can talk to are carizzo, muslera and ledesma.  I saw this interview of him on youtube which shows he's still learning italian:

I really liked this picture I saw today which shows him and Foggia getting along:

^^^ I think it's just what the camera showed, otherwise he's usually right in the middle of it. I think that was his first chance to score, and what a goal, and then run under the CN like that. It must be a rush.

Not sure if I've said this, but Carizzo made the kind of save today that great goalies do. In the first half, I think off of Macarone where he leaped, fully stretched to take away the top corner. Hopefully he's getting used to the Serie and We can expect more of these types of saves. Bravo JP!!!
