The Champions league dream is attainable if Lazio can survie the last 3 matches of the season. I'm sure whoever wins this game will likely take the 4th spot. Unfortunately Lazio will be without Ledesma. It seems while penalties are awarded to roma to assist them .. the opposite luck seems to go our way however as the true roman team we fight despite the disadvantage of not having the refs in our pocket.

If Lazio can play with the same motivation as we've seen in the last two games despite the result I think we can see victory. I think after two losses we're due for a victory and hopefully it will be in friuli. After a whole season in a CL spot I think we'd all be pretty much crushed if we gave up the spot right at the very end.

FORZA LAZIO!

In the last five games, it could be argued, we have been the better team but only won two. Being ineffective in the final third in spite of dominating possession has been a problem way too often this season and I think I am justifiably worried that the trend continues. Udinese and Merda are only a point away from us and Juve have a chance at overtaking all three as well. The pressure to reach the CL qualifications must be tremendous within the team. Let us see if we can handle it.

I find it a little strange that the referee has already been announced for our match on Sunday:  Nicola Rizzoli.

Don't know what the Lega-SerieA is trying to pull here.  Something fishy of course.

P.S great article for once in goal.com today about how we have a right to be pissed about all these penalties called in other teams favor.

Only Fiorentina and Chievo have had less penalties called in their favor than us.  While Chievo has also conceded the most too.

Should be able to create more genuine chances in this game simply because at home Udinese will not defend like Juve did, infact Udinese never defend like that are play some of the best attacking football in this league. With this in mind we should be able to find more space and hopefully do what we did in Catania.

61514 makes a great point about pressure, and we will find out exactly how we can handle and respond to it after this one's said and done.

What I don't like in particular about this match is the possibility of a tie going to help AS Rigoria. I can just see a cock up at the Olimpico complete with dubious calls, and a tie in Udine and voila the trick is turned.

True, though Merda v Milan is up first on Saturday night so whatever the result we go into the Udinese game knowing exactly the situation. I'd be surprised if Milan don't go into that game all guns blazing, they may only need a point but you just don't play for a point when your on the verge of winning the title.

That is true. Last time we scored thrice. It was a really good game from both sides and I hope to see a sequel on Sunday. We cannot play for anything but three points so Reja could not possibly order the team to sit back and rely on counterattack.

Sure but it doesn't take much after a win for le merde to call a pk in either direction to tie up the match in Udine in the dying moments. I just really don't like the way this season has unfolded.

Im confident Milan will win. As someone else said, you dont play for a point. If you want to win the title, in style, you risk losing if you play for a point.

Apparently some bookmakers have stopped taking bets on Roma being awared a penalty!

We must avoid being betrayed by nervousness in the final sprint - At the head, but also the legs. We struggle not only against Lazio, but also with Roma and Juventus. But they are only two who deserve the Champions League, Lazio and us, and certainly not the Giallorossi and Del Neri's team. But in the end - he concluded - only one team will rejoice. "

That is fantastic, have a nice trip. I am curious what do you mean with "in the wrong curve again"?

If you want to win agains UDI you gota defend well, they attack hard but their defence is weak so I guess if are able to defend well and deliver the ball well from our third to their thirs we could even hit them hard, in simple this game depend on our defenders the most and I mean Dias and Biava and I hope none of them gives away a silly mistake that cause us the match.
