At the moment I also feel like the next two games will be just waste of one's time but at the same time I stress that we must not under any circumstances throw in the towel and try to salvage what we can. We still have a motto that says non mollare mai.

The mercato, although I have said many times before that it is foolish and self-deception to hope or expect any earth-shattering moves from Lotito, I thought that the CL spot might at least attract some top players to us. It will be interesting to see how things develop. Ziegler, though, will probably do anything just to get out of Sampdoria so I would not worry about that.

I also feel we are on the way to regaining some of the credibility we have lost under Lotito. As for the Romanista himself, he will never leave, I am afraid, but me neither would want any foreign oil tycoon or media mogul or some such scumbag to buy the club.

One question guys..If we , Roma , and Udinese  finish the league all with 66 points what team will take 4th place ?

Roma would as they have a better head to head against us, and they have a better head to head against Udinese. Udinese would be 5th, as they have a better head to head against us on away goals while we would be sixth.

We can't give up just yet as there is still hope. Our next game is a Saturday game and if we win we will be 4th (Home vs Genoa SHOULD be 3 points, if this team falters vs them I will be completely crushed). Roma and Udinese have away trips vs Catania and Chievo. Now, Roma have both De Rossi and Perotta banned which should weaken them and I believe Catania treat this fixture like a mini derby because of an incident that happened several seasons ago. They also have a solid home record, 10-4-4. Not an easy game by any means for Roma. Udinese meanwhile have a 8-2-8 away record and have lost to teams like, Bologna, Catania, Lecce and Parma. Chievo are a solid side with a decent home record and have only lost four times at the Bentegodi. (To us, Milan, Fiorentina and Brescia). They won vs Inter and drew vs Juve and Roma. I still belive we can make it. But Chievo and Catania have to do us a favor, and they are capable.

Yeah, they do, but the question is, will we do?
