I am not that cared about our goal as Marchetti is away anyways... If Reja trusts Carizzo, he is trustworthy at least to prove it..

I am very sceptical about our backline though! Possibly DIakite and Biav? They didnt performed that well together last time, if we are up to meet Udine challenge.
Stanke as possible leftback I read...not defensive more problematic than Radu though so what!
But I hope Biavas routine and experience takes Natale out of the game and Diakite destroys the rest!

That's why we must slag him off BEFORE he is put in goal.  Remember River Plate.

Bizzari is in much better shape.

Interesting, Reja tried 3-5-2 in the training. As we all know he used to prefer that formation in the past and Udinese uses it all the time. It is not totally clear to me whether Dias and Radu are able to play but Stankevicius and Konko are so I would rather we stuck to 4-3-1-2 or alternatively 4-2-3-1.

And again. Probable formation:

Bizzarri; Diakitč, Diās, Radu; Cavanda, Gonzalez, Ledesma, Lulic, Sculli; Klose, Rocchi.

Good to see Dias back and Radu being fine. Curious to see how this works in practice. Palle seems totally out of place in this formation if we intend to utilize it as 5-3-2 when defending.

Konko is out after all but we have Stankevicius and Scaloni available for 4-3-1-2. Is there really a pressing reason to switch to 3-5-2 other than mirroring Udinese's formation? Has it something to do with Hernanes? I am puzzled.

Would prefer either Matuzalem or Hernanes in the midfield to start so there is some creativity and link up play with the strikers.

I hope to see Biava and Cisse both in the starting lineup. Rocchi has not proven himself to be More useful than Cisse.

big game, I wonder if at last Lazio will be able to win those games. Hope for good answers tomorrow night.

I agree with Klose and Rocchi starting. Cisse just came off playing a full 90 4 days ago. To my original point though, I don't know how Reja can justify playing five midielders without having one of them be a reliable trequartista. Then again, he sees them every day in training so I trust him as he's gotten us this far.

Can hardly believe that formation really. Cavanda and Sculli on the wings, really? Reja better know what he's doing, defences don't just switch from a back 4 to a 3 at will, they're good defenders but everyone has to be perfect when Di Natale is about. He must have seen something in a 3-5-2 that could trouble Udinese i suppose. And I rate Gonzalez more than some others but ahead of Hernanes? Really surprised, oh well, hopefully it works

Hernanes can sit out this match for all I care. I am all for benching anyone regardless of the name who is bringing the team down and not meeting expectations. Hernanes unfortunately for Lazio is in that category and Im happy to see he is out of this game. Wake the fuck up.

The name that scares me is Di Natale. Fuck this guy is so dangerous. Really not a stereotypical Italian striker. A play can look so harmless and with a blink of an eye Di Natale connects to the ball and is off to the races. Also on top of the box he has good vision laying it off as defenders are always expecting Di Natale to be the likely goalscorer.

PORTIERI: Bizzarri, Carrizo
DIFENSORI: Biava, Cavanda, Diakitč, Dias, Lulic, Radu, Scaloni, Stankevicius
CENTROCAMPISTI: Cana, Gonzalez, Hernanes, Ledesma, Matuzalem
ATTACCANTI: Cisse, Kozak, Klose, Rocchi, Sculli

http://www.sslazio.it/news/news/1-news/2357-lazio-udinese-i-convocati-biancocelesti.html

In 4-3-1-2 I could choose
Bizzarri - Cavanda,Diakite,Dias,Radu - Ledesma,Sculli,Lulic - Matuzalem(or Hernanes) - Rocchi(or Cisse),Klose
Quick line up from the midfield and up front that could easily be quicker and better in technique in this line up
Bizzarri - Cavanda,Diakite,Radu,Lulic - Ledesma,Sculli,Matuzalem - Hernanes - Rocchi(or Cisse),Klose

In 3-5-2 I could choose
Bizzarri - Diakitč,Dias,Radu - Cavanda,Matuzalem,Ledesma,Lulic,Scullli(or Hernanes) - Klose,Rocchi(or Cisse)

Wow! The formation really puzzles me. I agree that Hernanes has not been playing well but this is a pretty big match and I'd like to see him im there. Also, no Cisse?? I trust Reja but putting Cavanda, Gonzalez and Sculli out there seems very little chance of any creativity. Klose and Rocchi are great but they need to get the ball in order to score.

Forza Lazio!!!!!!!
