I`m satisfied with the point. About the game,I wouldn`t say we were good but Udinese were weak.

Meh, 1-1. Considering Milan, Rioma, Genoa have lost here on too bad but I hoped for more. Floccari has been an excellent addition, good header for the goal giving us more of a presence at deadball situations. He showed some nice touches as well. Udinese didnt have a lot, one piece of Di Natale magic in the first half and a decent chance in the dying embers. Mauri cost us the win at the end, which is a dam shame as it doesnt get much easier than that.

Yeah, the someone creative in the mid would have made a great difference. Hopefully, Lotito ties up Cigarini this week and we see him in action soon enough, maybe in time for the Coppa clash midweek.

Well, not the worst result. Not bad. But the problem is that I didn't like how we play at all. I hope we will improve. (when we take new players :P )

Another thing while im at it he should put foggia in and not bothered with mauri. Balla doesnt use foggias speed and better freaking passing than some of the shit long balls to outa fucking nowhere the others do. Foggia could atlest be putting in balls for someone to get on. Pointless playing mauri as we were not getting many balls in the box.

Exactly. On the one hand, we didn't create anything hardly, but neither did they. I think Udinese are going to be far more pissed then we are. I bet the posession count was 65 % at least in their favour. The teams who succeed would have come into this game and got all 3 points. It just reinforces what Lazio have become thanks to *insert whoever you like here* a middle of the road, lower mid table team with no real hope, unless mercato and new manager.

For some reason I'm not feeling angry, nor relieved. I think it's a useful point but could have done much better, eh Stefano?

@ Ed Agreed, Flocarri had a great game. In the middle, or down the wing, superb. Our best player ATM.

I am not angry but I am disappointed because I thought we were really going for the win with the attacking trident and pushing until Udinese caved in and collapsed. Referring to Theo's earlier summary of the game, Ballardini became so afraid of the big bad wolf he was scared of even trying to win in the end. That I did not like.

Thanks to Muslera we got a point. A couple of really good saves there. Must give credit to Mauri for that point too. Who tripped him over, I wonder. I am laughing and crying at the same time.

Roberto "I was fouled and could not pass" Baronio, then... Never mind the set-piece. ONCE AGAIN we had the questionable pleasure of watching yet another replay of his pathetic dives. Do you lot pay attention to those? He had two in this game that I noticed.

trying to break the top 10 seems near impossible with this pathetic team. Normally a tie away to udinese would be acceptable but at this point .. we're much too desperate to settle on a tie which is the equivalent to a loss in our position in the table.

I look at teams that only recently came out of Serie B but have proven they are better than us and not even by a little margin:

Genoa for example has surpassed us by far .. who now have not only  7 point lead .. but also a game in hand.

Napoli look like they're the real deal and a champions league spot is real and deserved for them.

Bari - they are not only higher on the table but have convincing wins against top clubs.

Hopefully this game will open some eyes for lo-merda to get the players desperately needed ASAP. This team might not fall into serie b .. but has definately acquired the class and level of a serie b team.

Sad but true. We are at the half way point now and have yielded only 20 points from 19 games. Sergio Floccari is has been a huge positive for this side, and proof if needed to Lotito that new additions must replace old, tired and substandard ones. Next in the league we have Atalanta (A), Chievo (H), Juve (A), and Catania (H). We must beat the two relegation rivals and Chievo to get ourselves away from trouble and add quality in the mid to give our forwards more opportunities infront of goal.

Well this just proves, once again, that we really need a good midfielder no offence to Firmani and Baronio but they just can't create anything on theire own. Okay Baronio took the freekick that lead to the goal but who couldn't have done that? (Mauri maybe?)
And really nothing new at all, Zarate can't still pass the ball, Muslera saved us again, Floccari played great, Ballardini substituted Mauri for Rocchi that costed us the victory (?) and this time I don't think the defence was strong at all, it was just because Udinese's crappy play and Muslera we only conseeded 1 goal.

If something doesent change we are going to end in 15'th place in the end of the season, and I can't see how somethin could change with Lotito as president, maybe he is happy with beeing 15'th?

Oh yeah that reminds me of all that hoo-hah on the other thread when I dare suggested that that article saying Firmani could prove to be a vital piece of the jigsaw was bullshit.

Today was proof if any was needed. FIRMANI OUT! He joins Del Nero, Mauri, Matuzalem, Dabo, and Baronio in the 'Shithouse Midfielders that Lazio must get rid of posthaste' category.
