Watching Lazio lose to Inter was almost expected considering Inter's record at home and the fact that it's also Inter. The game was still hard to watch since lazio looked like amateurs on the field not able to gain posession let alone haven any decent chances on net.

The only positive side to the weekend was seeing roma fail to beat chievo killing their chance of CL and potentially putting them in a spot for the coppa finalists to take.

Udinese managed to break the top 10 again and even gain a 1 point advantage on us. It seemed like their season was only getting worse but it just goes to show how a few good games can turn everything around, in fact 4 games to be exact. This is a pattern Lazio hasn't seen since the beginning of the season with all the inconsistency.

The last time we met Udinese was a great match that saw lazio come back from 3 down to tie it up. Lazio host Udinese this weekend but also have the coppa final to worry about days later. IMO, since it's clear our season has no goal attached to it we might as well field the Lazio 2nd/3rd string team in order to keep our players in preparation for the big match. I think delio should treat the udinese game as a chance to give kozak another chance and maybe tuia, mendicino and co. a chance to show themselves.

The only thing keeping our spirits high right now is the coppa final which could make or break the season and potentially ice the cake knocking romas chances of making europe dissapear.

Yup, the game before the final. Would be nice to win it to take a winning momentum into the coppa finale. Kozak to start from the beginning and maybe give Carrizo another chance. Read that Pandev could be back for the game and if so he should play some minutes to get him ready for the finale.

I would like to see kozak from the star as well. I feel bad that he was fed to the wolves on his first appearance. I'd like to see pandev get some time just to warm up but at the same time i don't want anyone risking injury or reaggrevating his injury. I say play mostly anyone who isn't playing the coppa. I doubt carizzo is going to ever play again. I think its pretty obvious he's gone at the end of the season. Our defense needs the most rest .. here's my formation .. im guessing some of these positions considering i've seen faraoni, cinelli, tuia and mendicino play once in a friendly:

              muslera

faraoni   tuia    cribari    kolarov

 dabo    meghni       cinelli

           del nero

  inzaghi          kozak

This is obviously not going to happen .. but i definately want to see more youth brought into the remaining games. Who knows what hidden talent could be sitting on our bench.

Can be but I think all youngs should play till end. We have nothing to lose. To be honest, only hope seems coppa finale, and since we cant make 6th spot in league anymore, we can utilize this process by putting youngs in field.

Yeah, but am just thinking we dont have to keep the older regular guys rusty b4 the coppa final.
I was really happy to see kozak play last week.

I would definitively give chance to our youngsters to the end of this season. As Latius said we must keep our important players away from injures so I would also start with some mixed team. We could even put Carizzo for this game and some primavera kids.

Udinese however will fight for this because on paper they still have chance to finish 6th. SO to tell you up front I'm not too optimistic about this one. I mean we have coppa finale in few days and that became the most important game in hole season and we probable just let go this one.

Forza Lazio

Ledesma is out thats for sure, and Rossi would be wise to rest Zarate and Pandev, if hes back, totally for this one. Mauri, Del Nero, Dabo, Radu, De Silvestri, Kozak, Rocchi, Diakite should play. Maybe rotate it a bit to keep people fresh and sharp, give Foggia a half as he didnt start against Inter. Ive read that Muslera will play, thats not a bad thing for me will keep him sharp. I hope we win this one, another loss at the Olimpico is unacceptable which ever way its looked at.   07

We can't just play the young players and leave our starters for the Coppa on the bench for two weeks.  However, it wouldn't be bad to let a few of them start and make some of them subs. We need to be game ready for March 13 but well rested. forza Ragazzi!

The coppa game is next wednesday (May 13) with only 4 days in between the udinese match. We need well rested/un-injured players.

Hey, we had three wins, and thanks to Inter, three defeats right? Well, following the cycle, it's now time for the wins - luckily, the coppa Italia final will feature in those wins. Yippee!

Seriously, we should treat Udinese as a dress rehearsal, approach the game as we would a cup final, try out a few things in preparation for that. I agree with what others have said, a few rests here and there are vital - I'd love to see Kozak get half an hour instead of Rocchi for example.

Perfect, but i would like put Mendicio in 11 first spots replace inzaghi.
