I missed the first half for technical reasons so I am not in the position to judge the entire game but it feels that at this rate our European campaign will come to a premature end. One man up almost the entire second half and utterly failed to even tie the game. I am not very pleased at the moment.

Do we ever need Mauri! We have no one to blame for losing this match but ourselves. Frankly, even when they were even, we had our chances. Mauri's injury couldn't have come at a worse time.  Thankfully, Vaslui and Zurich tied, so we have only dropped a point on the table.

+1 from me..
I wonder why Foggia is not a part of the team...He was one of the few that could organise our playing style in attack..Mauri,Hernanes,Foggia..
Mauri injured,Hernanes out of form and Foggia...on loan...

Ok, lets see...First goal for Sporting was a fucking joke, they couldnt have had more luck! And the second i dont want to talk about, those shots from 30 meters hit the back of the net maybe once or twice in 50 tries, but fucking Insua scored, that lucky piece of shit! About Klose- he is that kind of player, the one that needs only one chance to score. A real striker! I cant understand how we missed all those chances, we should have won 5:2! Yeah, Cisse is irritating with his behaving, but thats how he is, a fighter, and that can sometimes be bad and sometimes good, it depends. The merda game is coming and we need to win that game, cause if we dont, i will be very much fucking pissed!

It was my first time watching Sporting Lisbon playing, and in first half this team seem superior to our team. Second half the red card was meant to be a help for us but even then we were playing very poor but we created those good chances and are people like il capitano who gets  payed more than a million a year just to put them inside the goal but they failed. I'm not blaming only Rocchi but mostly him, he seemed so tired and worthless but Klose goes off and he stays in. Really this team has many problems, and I hope they fix them asap cuz I feel we're going down. ((

electric atmosphere in lisbon...now i am truly nervous.  On another note, my mom (for some strange reason) brought home portugese custard tarts for the first time ever today.  Needless to say I will not indulge.

ha ha it was a sign...a bad one too!

i literally could not put down my dinner after watching this game..what a disaster.   For Konko to volley that ball and one hop it directly at the crossbar was actually more difficult than putting it in the back of the net.  I also have no idea why people are criticizing Cisse.  This guy constantly creates scoring chances, he stretched the D with his run and picked out Rocchi perfectly in stride on that play.  Aside from taking 1-2 errant shots from half each game, he seems to always make the right play in attack and is always a step ahead of the other team (and, sadly, two steps ahead of our own attackers).

I wasn't able to watch the game and by the comments people have made i'm glad I missed it. I can't beleive that we have wasted so many chance's infront of goal recently its just not like us. Whats happened to hernanes recently I hope he isn't a one season wonder. Least that the other teams drew and are now fighting for second place in the group.
