man diakite comes back from a strain and everyone is jumping on him in a 1-0 WIN. you guys have to have more patience on this young adult. what i saw in him today was the beginning of a new set of D for lazio that can have potential being top class. Diakite De Silvestre are 2 names i want to see in Lazio forever

We as a club have already been waiting 3 years man... if that isn't patience my backside is a fire engine

to be fair we only gave him like what 11 12 games in those years? some were subs. 3 years ago we signed him a s a teenager and now your writing him off. He lets in 0 goals away versus a hot genoa, i thought the danger didnt even come on the right side, but more on the left. Well we both have our own opinions about the 22 year old, we wont convince each other.. and there is a thread on diakite so i wont hijack this thread.

anyways its nice to see we grabbed 6 points from Roma and Genoa. But perhaps the biggest games are in coppa italia and those mean everything. Lazio are starting to regain form and nice to see zarate getting back on track. Must re-sign Zarate and im sure Zarate doesnt want to go elsewhere if he had to choose.

I agree.

I really don't have that much patience to wait for players to come around. I think we should stick Tuia as the one to groom for that position and bring in another experienced central D in the meantime. We hear such good things about Kozak, Mendicino, Tuia .. yet they can't get a chance.

Last night I was in rush coz you know its orthodox Easter. +

I watched the hole game. The first half was a disaster. Too many mistakes. Diakite in the first 30 min made so many errors and we were lucky that Muslera was too confident and save the day. One of few first half's when we have a clean sheet (I really don't remember when we had a clean sheet in first HT). Second half we found our self's and start playing our game. We were lucky not to score more. Mauri, Zarate and Rocchi missed hell of a chances. Too bad Diakite, Pandev and some other lads were injured. Mauri, Ledesma were bad as always and guys worth mention are: Lorenzo ( I'm too have he played), Lichstainer, Kolarov, Zarate and MOM for me Muslera.

At the end we get the 3 points we want and we are only 2 points behind merda. Lets hope no one is badly injured and we be ready for Juve.

See ya' on  Wednesday

Happy Easter brother!!! going to my girlfriends house soon cuz she celebrates easter today as well.

I wasn't too impressed with the first half. Genoa was attacking and our defending was poor. Maybe Diakite just had a bad game but I wan't impressed with him at all.

Mistakes Cost Genoa Against Lazio – Matteo Ferrari
The Rossoblu suffered a 1-0 home defeat against the Biancocelesti on Saturday, and their star stopper couldn't help but rue the number of unforced errors committed...
Genoa defender Matteo Ferrari has admitted that things did not go the right way against Lazio as his side suffered a 1-0 loss at the Marassi stadium in matchday 32 of Serie A.

The Rossoblu failed to play their usual game and made a lot of unusual mistakes which eventually led to their defeat.

"In this game we made a lot of confusion and also made many mistakes, and when you face an in-form team like Lazio, you end up being punished," declared the former Roma player to Sky.

"In my opinion, if we had taken the lead, then we would have managed to win the game. However, we are not out of the Champions League qualification race."

Genoa are still in fourth place following yesterday’s results, as they hold a two-point advantage over Fiorentina and a five-point lead on Roma with just six matches left this season.
