Ok, so this week i am honoured to start the thread for the upcoming clash against Napoli, as i was asked by Theo, i hope not to let you down

We face a high flying Napoli this saturday at Olimpico, in what should be, in my view, a thrilling match as both teams will be looking for the whole 3. The game will be on our homeground, we all will be hoping for a win, but we face a Napoli side which has more quality on the bench than our starting eleven. They won their last two games, an inspiring come back against the bianconeri and a goal against Catania was enough to secure the three points. Napoli are three points behind the last CL spot, they will be struggling for it, no doubts they will go for the win and continue chasing Palermo for the 4th spot. The recent form of Lazio show they can actually play decent football. Reja seems to have found the right tactics and the approach for the team as they managed to sneak out a point from a scudetto chasing Milan, moreover they could have won with a little more effort in the attack. My personal concern is that we make many "childish" mistakes in the defense, which may cost us points this time. We were lucky against Milan in that matter. However, the team looks inspired and they will be looking to continue the positive results and eventually guarantee a safe spot at the end of this dreadful season.

Should be another entertaining match but hope to keep up with this unbeaten streak going to 4, with a good result here and Bologna next we can build up enough steam to kill Merda on the 18th.  Stopping them from winning the scudetto is the one saving grace this season other than don;t get relegated.  The last few games cagliari and milan were against lesser than usual form squads with Siena being rock bottom.  We have not faced a solid competitor in terms of quality/form in this 3 game streak and I expect Napoli to be a real force as they are in form, motivated and well rounded.  Floccari being back is a big plus, I would not mind seeing zarate start on the bench.  Mistakes of the back are to be expected by now and all the more reason to push forward and keep looking for goals.

this is from neighbour site:

Lazio boss Edy Reja has revealed that he will always have a close affiliation with Napoli after coaching the Azzurri from 2005-09.

"My heart is blue. A part of me will always remain with Napoli, which was the culmination of my career," Reja told ANSA. "I hope that I can work well with the Lazio players, which has a lot of fan support.

"I don't believe that I will end up coaching for five seasons here, but at least another two would be good."

Reja also gave his prediction about the upcoming match with the Partenopei at the weekend.

"It will be a game with a high tempo to it. Both teams are going through some good form, and it will be a great match.

"Our side has gone through some difficult moments this season, but decided that after our training camp, to forget about what has happened and start fresh. The draw with Milan confirms that we are getting better as a side," he concluded.

This could be a weekend to do a serious leap frog due to other matches. We are currently 2 points behind Catania and Bologna but both of them face off against great teams.

Catania vs. Palermo - while like most derbies .. they can go either way .. Delio Rossi has worked magic with Palermo making them almost unbeatable and making CL a complete reality. Catania have sort of stumbled recently.

Bologna vs. Inter - Inter will most likely deliver a thrashing due to last weeks loss to the merde and causing only a 1 point difference with the scudetto spot.

There really isn't many games left in the season but we do have tough matches coming up (incl the derby, inter, napoli, Genoa) half of which are teams in top 10.

A scary thought .. roma have a pretty light schedule ... and winning the scudetto is a possibility. Hopefully we become the x-factor in them winning it in the derby.

One thing is for sure we need to keep winning!

*sigh*

I put a porno magazine under a cage, that was held up only by a stick. You saw this, eyes lit up, ran under the cage, knock the stick over and trapped yourself.

i.e You fell for my trap. Of course I knew Aquile was already gone (infact, he's still a member, but doesn't post anymore) My above statement was merely a semi-joke regarding the Indonesia fucktard and his appalling quality of posting.

3 punti nothing less. 7 points from 9 is very good but it can't stop here. If other results go our way this could be the weekend when relegation worries are eased significantly. Sadly Napoli are back in form from our perspective but that was inevitable from their point of view anyway, such is their quality. Its so obvious that attacking the opposition is the best form of defense, so let it begin.

Napoli should honour Reja and lose the game on purpose. That is what I think. I am not very confident about it, though.

Spot on as usual. I have nothing to add until lineup time.

I think Muslera had just some minor muscle cramps, whatever, nothing serious.
