I woudnt play Lich in midfield, instead in his best position of RB where he has excelled all season long. Id go like this

                           Carrizo

Lich            Diakhite        Rozenhal        Radi

                          Ledesma
Foggia                                           Meghni

                          Pandev

               Rocchi             Zarate

If Matu is fit i would bring hin on later in the game, this is too big a game to take a risk on a player who has not even played one game this season

yeah if your going to play three strikers I think this is our best lineup.  I would probably start Brocchi in place of Meghni, though, just to give us more grit and aggressive ball winning...Meghni should come on if we need to score.

Nice lineup, but we may have to sacrifice megnhi or foggia for dabo.
I hope megnhi keeps playing and doing well instead of mauri.

Yes thats a good point, it would give us some balance and a weapon on the bench in meghni and hopefully matu if he is ready

I was just reading that Matu has started training with the team but is not ready for juve because he still can't play an entire 90 minutes. We should move on another midfielder this mercato .. the juventus game is the last official game of the season then we start over with the same teams again. It's almost as if this guy is a january signing coming in now.

After looking at the standings we MUST win. Roma beat samp 2-0 today and are sitting exactly 3 points(1 win) below us going up against relegation zone Torino sunday. They have managed to catch up to us. Lazio must stop at nothing now and DESTROY rubentus or it will be one depressing day.

Lazio - Juventus
Stadio Olimpico

Week 19 offers Serie A viewers a classic clash between Lazio and Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. The Biancocelesti are chasing a UEFA Cup spot this season while the Bianconeri are aiming for the title.

Lazio approach this game on the back of two consecutive wins and collected a super victory in Calabria against Reggina at the weekend. The Capitolini now lie seventh in the table with 30 points, two behind duo Fiorentina and Genoa and three behind Napoli.

“This team is returning to playing high level football and I am convinced we can do well,” said Delio Rossi. “I believe Tommaso Rocchi, Goran Pandev and Mauro Zarate can play together – they just need to collaborate.”

Meanwhile, Juventus come from a brilliant weekend, which saw them reduce the gap between themselves and Inter to only four points. Perhaps their 1-0 win over Siena wasn’t their best performance of the season, yet the Bianconeri still delivered in front of their fans.

“Siena didn’t deserve to lose and could have drew against us,” stated Claudio Ranieri at the end of the game. “We are lucky enough to have our captain who is in top form at the moment. Inter are not that far away but we need to focus on ourselves – it is not important what they do as long as we keep on winning.”

Christian Manfredini will be out for this game as well as Sebastiano Siviglia and Francelino Matuzalem. Mobido Diakite, who has been linked to Arsenal recently, should start in defence while French starlet Mourad Meghni will take his place in midfield. In attack Rossi could risk the Za-Pa-Ro trio.

After a long absence Gianluigi Buffon should return to defend the Old Lady’s net for this important away clash despite Alexander Manninger being decisive against Siena. Olof Mellberg will play on the right as Zdenek Grygera is suspended.

Giorgio Chiellini will also return in defence while Claudio Marchisio should be preferred to Danish midfielder Christian Poulsen. Alessandro Del Piero will be starting up front alongside Brazilian ace Amauri. The duo has scored 18 Serie A goals collectively this term.

Keep an eye on: Alex Del Piero (Juventus) – The Bianconeri legend added another fantastic performance to his campaign by netting an amazing free-kick against the Senesi. Lazio and Juan Pablo Carrizo are likely to be his next victims.

Last season: Lazio 2-3 Juventus

Form guide: Lazio (L L D W W) Juventus (W W W W W)
Lazio (probable): Carrizo; De Silvestri, Diakite, Rozehnal, Radu; Dabo, Ledesma, Meghni; Pandev, Rocchi, Zarate

Juventus (probable): Buffon; Mellberg, Legrottaglie, Chiellini, Molinaro; Camoranesi, Sissoko, Marchisio, Nedved; Del Piero, Amauri

Ousmane Dabo Warns Juventus Ahead Of Lazio Clash
Dabo cannot wait to play Juventus on Sunday night, and he believes Lazio can beat them...
Lazio midfielder Ousmane Dabo has sent a warning message to Juventus, telling them that his side have what it takes to win when the two teams clash on Sunday night.

The Bianconeri travel to the Stadio Olimpico hoping to close the gap between themselves and Inter to just one point. Lazio on the other hand are looking to maintain their momentum in Serie A as they aim for the Champions League places.

Dabo is eyeing maximum points even though Juve are favourites to win in Rome. The former Manchester City man is full of confidence as he reveals his plans to rumble the Old Lady.

"It will be an exciting game against Juventus and we are talking about the team who are second in the league," Dabo told Il Corriere Dello Sport.

"We have nothing to lose and we will be playing to win. I think we have the potential to beat them, but we need to concentrate and avoid making mistakes.

"The big teams punish you when mistakes are made, but we can do it if we play in the ways we know."

Coach Delio Rossi is likely to deploy his favoured 4-3-3 formation, with the attacking trident of Goran Pandev, Mauro Zarate and Tommaso Rocchi leading the charge.

I agree, but the other teams havent got it easy either. Fiorentina must face Milan and Juve away next so they could loose both. Napoli and genoa are away at the weekend and they are far better at home and roma must visit naples in the next fixtures after this so they will get smashed there. We may be really close to fourth after next weeks round as we have cagliari at home and should win that one.

I think if we show maturity in our game for the first 30 minutes and don't concede then we will have a good chance to win. Rozenhal should settle the excellent Diakhite in this big match, and then we should come on strong and dictate the play. If Zarate and Pandev link up like they did against Reggina then we will score for sure, Zarate at times was unplayable when the cut in down the left flank. Forza Lazio! 07

Lazio Will Do Their Best To Beat Juventus - Meghni
The Biancocelesti prepare to host the Bianconeri at the Olimpico stadium on Sunday evening in the 19th matchday of Serie A.
Lazio midfielder Mourad Meghni is looking forward to the clash against Juventus in order to gauge the level of his team.

He believes that the Biancocelesti are at a good point, but he wants to back this with a positive result against the in-form Bianconeri side.

"We're in a good moment, we must know that also we're a great team and we will give our best," declared the former Bologna player to Sky.

His team-mate Ousmane Dabo recently declared that Juventus are now more beatable since they are not helped by referees anymore.

"I don't know how true it is, but I'm convinced that they will be very difficult to beat," explained Meghni.

The French player has been playing lately in a different position than his usual one, but that does not seem to bother him too much.

"I find myself well in this position, which I had already covered before, and I'm improving all the time," he continued.

"Surely before the game, the coach will have nothing special to tell us because when we face Juventus we always give everything."

Lazio are currently in seventh place with 30 points from 18 games played, just three points behind fourth place - a spot which will secure a position in next season's Champions League.

Marchisio, Chiellini, Iaquinta To Return Against Lazio
Good news for Juventus as Marchisio, Chiellini, and Iaquinta are all expected to recover from injury in time for the match against Lazio on Saturday...
Juventus overcame Catania 3-0 in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday and now are looking for a repeat performance against Lazio on Sunday evening.

The Biancocelesti are likely to provide a much more stern test for Claudio Ranieri's men, but they will be boosted by the return of three Italians.

Midfielder Claudio Marchisio, striker Vincenzo Iaquinta, and defender Giorgio Chiellini have recovered from their respective knocks and are all expected to be named in 'the Tinkerman's' squad for the match at the Stadio Olimpico, according to Calciomercato.

The Bianconeri fans will be especially pleased with the return of Chiellini, who ahs been a rock in the backline all season and will be key in attempting to stifle the Lazio attack, which has scored 29 goals this season.

Meanwhile, central midfielders Tiago and Christian Poulsen completed the full training session on Thursday and could also see some action on the weekend.

Whoever will play in juve this weekend, if we aim to 4th spot, it shouln't be problem. I believe at which we can beat juve, it will be hard but not impossible...
