VS

Theo asked me start this thread so here it goes...

The end of this nightmarish season is finally coming to an end with Lazio facing off with Udinese at the Olimpico, and hopefully they end things off in a positive note... but really if they lose I personally won't be too affected by it as I've dealt with enough heartache and embarrassment as other Lazio fans have all season. The only thing we were pray for most of the season was to escape relegation  and we finally accomplished that in the second last game against our other smaller/weaker rivals who will be cast into Serie B next season, but like most of our other wins .. this doesn't really prove that this team is capable of competing at a higher level since we beat mostly bottom 10 teams and having a 25% chance of winning.

Udinese have also tumbled down the standings as well almost as bad as us for quite some time .. but now sit tied for 10th with ONLY 3 points ahead of us. Surprisingly for a team that didn't have the best season has the top scorer in the league with more goals than all our strikers put together.

[bSome Stats:[/b]

Udinese scored 52 goals and Lazio scored 36 - clearly they are strong offensively
Udinese conceded 42 goals and Lazio 42 - both teams have a weak defense, clearly Udinese the weaker

These are two teams that one would expect would be fighting for uefa at least, but both (mostly Lazio) have spend the season in relegation and risked Serie B. But one thing for sure is that this game is evenly matched and should be an exciting game.

I digress, two lost derbies, two horrible mercatos, hovering over relegation all season .. clearly something needs to change and it's all up to the merda that heads this club to make sure we don't have to put up with these results next season. I personally will be following two other games at the same time and be partial to Inter as I was when we faced them because the last thing this season needs is to have the merde finish at the top overshadowing (as they arleady have) our pathetic season.

I predict Lazio will give the fans victory at home 2-1 Lazio.

FORZA LAZIO!

After yesterday a considerable burden has been lifted from my shoulders. Ultimately, the goal of the season has been achieved and a loss would not cause much grief anymore but I hope the squad has some steam left and we end the season on a high note by giving Udinese a proper beating. If Chievo loses to Merda, as they most probably will, we will climb up a couple of positions on the table as well. To end this nightmarish season at 12th position would be grand. Forza Lazio.

Nicely done Latius

Di Natale is a force of nature. For sure the Zebrette would be relegated without him. He lives off fairly poor service most of the time, Inler aside, and manages to get himself goal after goal. His attitude is perfect as well, he feels a commitment and a devotion to the city and fans despite no European football for many a season.  Will he finish top scorer? Most certainly yes! And he potentially could have a good day against us next weekend.

I didn't watch Lazio last week which was a little strange but my love for this season diminished a long time ago. Cannot wait for it to end. I don't give a fuck whether it makes me a masochist. There is no hope for this team until Lotito signs up to military service, picks up a career threatening injury, or gets stranded near Eyjafjallajökull indefinitely. i.e LOTITO VATTENE! I have absolutely no time in my life for cautious, ungrounded optimism.

Just found out that Marino just jumped in as a caretaker manager for Udine so this will be his last game at the club. Two teams who have nothing to fight for but a win would be nice considering we can jump 2-3 places and finish the season in 12-13th place which is shit but considering we were in the bottom three for a week in mid season, it's acceptable. Baretto, Luciani, Sevieri, Faraoni, Cinque, I wanna see at least two of these guys get a chance.

This game and the Milasn-Juve game may be pushed to Saturday in order to avoid possible crwod problems. The concern is that having tens of thousands of Milan or Lazio fans spill out into the streets to meet celebrating Inter or riom fans might lead to huge confrontations.

.....more like weeping and whining riommers!

I also want us to win the game this time to improve our ranking. but I fear if we play almost all Primavera and young players, we're not going to win easily .

This game is just a good opportunity to use the youngsters and others. I really don't care if we finish 14th or 11th. This was a horrible season and i am eagerly waiting for it to end. This summer something must change. Reading different comments and statements about starting the new campaign with same group of players is making me sick. I really don't want to think about it. Just wait and hope for better times. I don't know how to expect anything positive from this team anymore while lotito is around. Hope.

The worst season ever ends a day earlier? That'll do for me.

thats funny.
btw,I feel sorry for cruz, maybe he could be a  Lazio staff later? maybe he is less good performance on the field, but he might have knowledge and good managerial skills in football.
