Hi okpc99, we're the same Asian breed but unfortunately I can't see them play. I'm really pleased to hear that many Chinase Laziali will attend there.

Back in Italy, both Laziali and Interisti have a lot in common.

Win? is a must. :D

In these two days our forum will start the ticket booking. Bad news is the committee of the organizer rules the tickets' price so high, €18.67,€39.42,€60.17,€80.91,€101.66,€132.78,€174.27,€195.02,€298.76. And most of us can only afford €60.17 for this game, cause we also need pay a lot of cash for the journey and  lodging as we come from all over the country. What a hell of the organizer! They are only tracing the money! This is price is so unreasonable for only one game.

Can we confirm a start time yet?

Not sure what the time is .. August 8th ... i think it would be 8am EST which is what you want. I saw on chinas ticketmaster it's advertised at 20:00 and they are 12 hours ahead. Good thing is its on a saturday, maybe for those who can get up early enough we can get together at Curva Nord Bar and have one of mimmos famous cappucino's together if your in Toronto.

thnx...i'm assuming to go with the "good-luck" Chinese theme of 8 (the date) the game will probably start @ 8pm China Time.  Which makes sense that it would be 8-am Eastern Standard Time (Toronto, GTA)

But this is football and anything can change along with the starting XI.  If anyone gets word on a diff. start time please post it here

Date: August 8th, Beijing National Stadium, China, 20.00 (local time).
That is 13:00 CET (if my calculations are right).

Saturday means the TTC is running at a decent hour, so I would be able to make it up

Goal.com has confirmed a 14:00 CET (central european time) which if my calculations are correct leaves a 6 hour difference between Toronto and Italy.  Which of course like it was confirmed earlier will be 8am EST.  So whose down for some cereal, milk, and cookies pre-game :)

The game will probably not be televised in Italy!!! Looks like we'll be searching for a stream (hopefully RAI Int picks it up).

RAI has picked up the rights and, in case anyone was worried, it's all taken care of, Lazio will win....

Lazio's Stefano Mauri Tells Inter: We Will Win The Italian Supercup
Lazio's talismanic midfielder has warned Inter not to expect an easy ride in two weeks...
Lazio midfielder Stefano Mauri is ready to vindicate last season's Coppa Italia win by adding the Italian Supercup to the trophy cabinet.

The Aquilotti clash with Inter at the Olympic stadium in Beijing on August 8 to contest the trophy. Mauri is full of confidence and is hoping that his side pummel the champions.

"We want to win the Supercup, as it would give us plenty of motivation for the season ahead in Serie A and in Europe," Mauri told Datasport.it.

"I am satisfied with the way pre-season has been going and I hope to prove my worth on the pitch. The team is competitive and, although I cannot make promises, I can guarantee the fans that we will do our best."

The Italian midfielder enjoyed a good term with the Bianconcelesti and he will be rewarded with a new deal.

"It [the contract] is now a formality. My agent is speaking with the club and we will resolve everything soon," concluded Mauri.

Hopefully he'll be on the bench when we do.
