^ Mauri is still weeks out, but yes he has been a big loss.

this is the Line up I saw on TMW

PROB. TRAINING (4-3-1-2): Bizzarri, Cavanda, Diakité, Dias, Radu; Gonzalez Ledesma, Lulic; Hernanes, Rocchi, Cisse.

I know some might scuff at fielding a real team for a Coppa Match against Bwin Hellas, but I think it is the right thing to do considering the whooping we received last match. though I agree some Prima players should be on the bench.

Forza Lazio

No primavera players in our lineup tonight.  Reja is fielding a pretty strong starting XI.  Was hoping to see Stendardo back in the fold but it looks like our All-Star D of Stankevichius still keeps him out.

Maybe....just maybe Cisse will have better luck scoring against a Serie B side.  Milan-Novara await the winner of this game.

My hopes are not high after the Siena debacle but hopefully we show strength of character in this game. Hellas Verona are by no means a weak team and are in great form. I would have preferred Klose and Rocchi upfront but I guess Il Capitano can do the job on his own too.

Forza Lazio!

We have tons of possession, we could spend the entire half just passing around in midfield but creating real chances seems difficult. We control the game easily but somebody needs to create a bit of magic here to break the deadlock.

I agree 61514.  We look so sluggish in the final 3rd of the pitch...But this is nothing new.  No creativity no penetration.  Even Serie B defence looks great against our attacking line.

...but luckily we started looking dangerous and creating good chances, quite a lot of action inside the Verona box in the last 10 or so minutes. With so many good opportunities we could deservedly be leading by two goals but at least we got one in. Nice to see Dias back. Mandolini is bound to make some tactical changes for the second half but hopefully we can maintain possession and score a couple more.

A little bit of deflection goes a long way sometimes, eh... One for Il Capitano. Maybe Cisse gets lucky as well.

2-0 by Rocchi's deflection on his shoot...
