Lazilita reports that riom tried to contact Ledesma in the days before the hearing to convince him to go to Rome's second team.
oh and btw, Ledesma's nitwit agent says he wants only Inter and has rejected a move to Genoa. This is why I have no sympathy for this loser. We have to trade him when he wants, where he wants.

Go to Genoa we need Zapater Why Inter want him so much, hes a very mediocre player, they have the money, they can afford themselves big names, why Ledesma? Not that i care about Inter, i just think the money we get from them, wont be spent effectively, and i prefer the Genoa deal with players exchanging, thats more safe IMO
Inter always has this nasty tradition targeting our players and causing these players to lose motivation with us. deki, mancini, stam almost, jimenez (a joke in the end), now pandev and ledesma

It is indeed Inter or nothing.
Genoa don't seem too upset - they said they don't need Ledesma because Kharja is back in a week or two.
Kharja>>>>>Ledesma

According to article 15, Ledesma can leave for free at the end of june if he is not employed in at least 10% of the team's matches. Aside from the fact that we could use him, this should give Lotito another good reason to reintegrate him.

Ledesma hasn't made peace Monday 8 February, 2010 The agent of Lazio midfielder Cristian Ledesma says his client has yet to make peace with Claudio Lotito.
The Argentinian hasn't featured for the Biancocelesti at all this season after an ugly contract dispute.
Ledesma tried to get his existing deal rescinded last month, but the arbitration panel ruled in Lotito's favour.
Lotito is now expected to try and re-integrate Ledesma, but it remains to be seen whether he actually features against Parma on Valentines Day.
Speaking to Tutto Mercato Web, Vincenzo D'Ippolito said: “I don't know. They hadn't made peace up until yesterday. Cristian has a contract until 2011. He has always been very open. Up until now he has remained out of the team. We'll see what happens.
“For us, it's not important that Cristian's contract is renewed. It expires in 2011, so we aren't in a hurry given there are still 18 months to run on it. As has already been said, we will stay in June.”
Asked if he thought Lazio wouldn't be third from bottom with Pandev and Ledesma still in the team, D'Ippolito said: “You never know. Football is strange. I think they would but in reality this is everyone's opinion.”

I believe Ledesma's reintegration to the squad is now imminent. He says he will play if the club wants him to. He wants to return to the team, fight for the cause and help save Lazio from relegation. After that, maybe even a contract extension? This is just tragicomic.

Word is Ledesma guaranteed he will not use article 17 at the end of the season and so will probably be reintegrated. The contract will be left for later. What a disaster - I never thought I'd see the day we'd be practicaly begging Ledesma to play.

Rather the other way around, would you not say? Ledesma went to court, dying to get out of here, and now all of a sudden he is doing his best to live up to the role of a prodigal son Lotito has created for him.

unless he signs a contract stating he will not use article 17 how is he believable. More flip flops than a politician. We should not extend his contract we need a better replacement at the end of the season

No clearly - I meant from the point of view of the fans actually praying (perhaps that's the better description) to see him on the field instead of Baronio. Mammamia what have we been reduced to. Nevertheless, at this point I'd sell myself to avoid relegation. Che tristezza!

Quite agreed. I'd ship you off to Mantova at the earliest oppurtunity. I couldn't wait for Ledesma to go during the Summer and further still during January 2010. But for obvious reasons, I am begging for him to come back also. But I dunno what people think about this supposed contract extension... do you want him to stay any longer then the end of this season? I really don't. Reja is a highly intelligent football man so I can't see him wanting to play Baronio every week next season.. and he likes Argentinians, so maybe he has plans to use Ledesma more often. I'd prefer it if we shot of him altogether and just got someone new in the summer, but of course it's never guaranteed.

No I don't want Ledesma next year, but usually the new contract is meant to strengthen the bargaining position of the club. Sadly, I think Ballardini will be unfairly thrown under the bus for this. Reja (oe whomever) will come and suddenly reintegrate Ledesma and then Lotito will say "see, it wasn't my choice all along". To steal a line from one of my alltime faves Appocalypse Now: 'round here the bullshit piles up so fast you needed wings to stay above it all.
