I dug this up from 2007 it's almost humorous now:

Lazio's Di Silvestri: I was Roma reject

Lazio fullback Lorenzo Di Silvestri has revealed he was rejected by city rivals Roma as a youngster.

Di Silvestri is regarded as one of Italy's brightest young talents and admitted: "Before I had trials with Lazio, I was watched by Roma scouts, but they rejected me.

"I guess it worked out well. It allowed me to join Lazio, where there is an environment of confidence and trust. I've been allowed to establish myself there."

Dear God, what happened to the confidence, what happened to the trust?  I guess this does add fuel to the fire that he's a Roma fan at heart.  Kind of hard to believe with all those celebrations he had when we won the derby.

I already knew DeSilvestri was a riomaniste bitch long time ago fuck him, also believe it or not lotito is a closet riomaniste too.
It shows he does not care about Lazio but he's pocket full of euro money, fuck the bastard.
