I am starting this topic cause i see people here disrespecting Paolo, and some of them really, really not liking him, or hating him. So from the start, i am going to say that ANYONE who doesnt like Paolo can fuck off out of here cause i dont want negative posts! I am not even going to get in the fact that some of you hate a guy who is an icon of this club...So please do me and yourself a favour and just dont post stupidities like ''he is a fascist, oh that is bad, we dont like him''...PLEASE!
Any of you who still support this legend watched Saturday FA Cup game, when his Swindon Town played Wigan? Swindon, who is in 4th league, totally owned the whole field against Wigan, and basically, well, destroyed them. The tactics were great, you could see them studied to detail. I think he will be a great manager. On the other hand, our Reja is a good, experienced manager who sometimes gets good tactics and sometimes completely fucks them up. I just hate the fact the he likes to start with players who are RETARDED and he knows it as well as we do, like Stank who has the pace of a snail. Even more i hate his non-logical tactical moves like putting in defenders when we are losing, and always playing on 1 goal difference. Our football is boring, some of our players should never get a chance to play like Cavanda, and yet he puts him in, as he will tomorrow against Verona. I think he is a stubborn old man...I would like to see Paolo as our manager one day, cause it would be great. And when he proves than he is a great manager i will tell something to all you haters and non-believers...AVE PAOLO!

I have been impressed by Di Canio so far. I wasn't sure he was manager quality but he has done well with Swindon and I hope he gets them promoted. Then of course the Wigan game, really impressive knocking out a Premier League side with a team 3 divisions below. If he keeps impressing I would love to have him take control of Lazio one day but as long as Lotito is here it will not happen.

Sorry Latitvserbia - there are no sacred cows here.

I don't care that he's a fascist, I don't care that he doesn't like Lotito - he's entitled to think and do as he wishes (in fact I support his right to choose what to believe - in any respect). His actions as of late as they regard Lazio, frankly, have been abhorrent. Sorry, but either he doesn't love this team as much as he claims, or can;t separate his love of Lazio from his hatred of Lotito. I find that rather pathetic. And that's BECAUSE I loved him as a player.

DiCanio as a manager... sure.

DiCanio as our manager... not now.

In addition I would like to see our oldies back here giving us something! But real characters! No pussys! I also like Simeone or Nesta back here one time! But not necessarily Sinisa, cause he was Roma once, and he was Inter very much and Firence. I dont see as a real Biancocelesto anymore...
If Di canio stays on that course, some day! But the situation is critical to become that environment for a possible comeback!

Last season, Di Canio put down Lazio and discredited them of their worth to be Europe material. Our Laziale battled hard and Reja had put a lot of work into his coaching and Di Canio put the SS Lazio TEAM down as a whole.

Look, great.. he is doing well as a manager but an icon supports their beloved team through thick and thin, not when the pay cheques and fascists supporters stop coming.

To me personally, Di Canio is more of a passionate person in general than he is a devoted Lazio fan. I did like Di Canio with his icon stats and was going nuts last year on ebay italia to find an original Di Canio jersey in his time with Lazio, my search came to a sudden halt after such betrayal to SS Lazio 1900. I would love to have another Ex-Laziale though.

No Thanks. I do not mean to piss anyone off, but I just wanted to put in my thought.

Well are we Europe quality? We almost lost to Zurich and Vaslui this season, and thank to Zurich we are still in EL...His bad comments are not bad, just realistic, cause if we got to CL this season i really wonder how would that be, considering our weak games in EL...saying that he doesnt love Lazio like he did is just a stupid thing, he just doesnt like Lottito and Tare, and i think that he just wouldnt want to work with them. Lottito proved that he is just a cunt when he didnt back up Paolo about his salutes, but still he says for himself that he is a fascist too. I would be pissed off like Paolo at the management, for not supporting their own player and for being cowards, cause what other players are doing now in Serie A is far worse than his salute, but still they go unnoticed, and the fact that a lot of people dont like Lazio is even a bigger motivation to keep fighting. He will come back one day! AVE PAOLO

I totally agree! Even if someone loves Lazio, the games and quality in first11 and depth arent THAT material and he said nothing wrong to me! Only problem is saying that as a true Lazio.. But even true Lazio fans could talk and say the ugly site of the truth!
That he talks to the media is maybe ofcourse because of Lo and Tare to put pressure on them - in every aspect!...

Di Canio is one of my favorite players and i quite like it for being the player who gave everything for the club where he spent! I think it's a real Laziali! but i don't eant to be our coach already, I like him a lot, but he may give up bad due to his inexperience as a coach and i don't want to see a legend of the Lazio remembered as a weak coach!
Perhaps as sports director, to provide motivation, strength, passion, discipline, comfort, etc. to guide the squad but did not think he want it now

He is now beginning his career as coach and has plenty of time to drive the Lazio and lead us big results!

^^ The fact that he criticizes Lazio is not the problem, but when a guy says every possible negative thing but when we win a Coppa Italia or a Supercoppa, or win a derby he has nothing to say (not even a Forza Lazio!), that says something about his mentality. I don't care how much I hated the owner, if we win a derby, or a cup of any kind, you  bet that if I have a soapbox to stand on like DiCanio, I'm letting everyone know where I stand.

Its safe to assume Di Canio was not happy Lazio won the cups and derby. He attacked Lazio just last year as a calcio pundit and never ever showed gratitude to the club. Again, his passion of hatred towards Lotito is far more important to him than Lazio.

Also, last year Di Canio had said that Lazio will never be a Champions League team, so I dont see Di Canio ever considering a coaching job or future of any kind at Lazio.

He simply was worse than Totti last year. Im surprised how anyone can come to his defense here.
