Foggia is being left ut of the Cagliari team and it looks like his stay there will end in January. His last game ws against Empoli and it looks like he will not play the remainder of the games until the market reopens. I'm wondering whether we'll get him back and if he'll help since he really only plays outside right on the 4-4-2. Also, what's the problem with this guy - why did Milan, Lazio and now Cagliari all essentially give up on him? Makes me think there is something about his attitude and demenour in the dressing room. boh?

I don't see him coming back. I think he openly said he won't play for Lazio again after they sent him off this summer. Personally I like his ability but who knows how his personality is. He may be like a CAssano.

Something happened between him and another Cagliari player, can't remember what. So then Foggia had a friend of his give the guy a beating at a club. He got kicked off the team. But Sonetti said that without Foggia it's gonna be very touch for Cagliari.

I think your right about Foggia who just might be another Cassano .. he's bounced around Lazio, Reggina and Cagliari ..

a little off topic but I found this clip which i thought was funny on cassano having a complete meltdown because he's now missing the game against roma .. kinda funny how he's anti-romanista now

As a person who has spent lots of time with young people and coached them for many years let me tell you that I have seen Cassano type tantrums and worse!!! To anyone who says "I don't care what a player is like, as long as he scores" - believe me you don't want a Cassano or a Foggia or one of these nutbars on your team. They may score and win the odd game but they hurt you overall because they cause too much stress and friction on the team causing other players to play poorly. The result is that while the one player may be good, he brings down the entire team's performance with his bad vibes. Trust me. they're every coach's nightmare because they are like sirens tempting them to their own destruction.

Another game from Foggia, another energetic display from the player who oozes technical class and ability. Finally, it appears to be sinking in for Dellio Rossi that here is a player that could be on the wing for Italy sooner rather than later. Foggia causes defenders so many problems when he cuts in from the right wing, and he simply must start every game i believe. I would like to see him score more, as he has the technical ability to do so in a not disimilar way to that of the great Pavel Nedved did on the left flank for us, and hopefully in time this will happen. Forza Foggia. Forza Lazio.  07

Foggia is clearly one of our better players and hopefully he'll only be getting better

Foggia is the most overlooked player on the team in Delio Rossi's eyes. He's exciting to watch, creates chances, great dribbler, gives 100% and a fan favorite. He should be a starter every week. I think keeping kolarov and him on the mid wings is the best thing.

FORZA PASQUALINO!

He is a benefical player of this team; fast, technic and capable enough to score ( shortly good winger ). Last match he scored an early goal and make winning easy for us. When he takes ball in his feet, he tries to make creative things and usually he makes what he wants. Using winger is important to play effective and to score. Besides, he doesnt play only sides, he tries to be effective in middle. So, he is a good player and we need him for future.

You're preaching to the converted brother.... If I had the time and the patience I'd go find my post regarding il foletto napolitano from the start of the season, I think he's a fantastic player and very important. Why Rossi leaves him on the bench is beyond me. Daje Pasqualino!!!!!!!!!

... I can actually understand why Rossi doesn't start him sometimes - sometimes it takes him a good half hour to get him into a game, therefore when he comes on, he can make an instant impact. Where was he against Torino? He didn't do much at all.
He is inconsistent, but talented player and I agree, we definitely need him and I wish him well because he is 25? Somewhat of a late bloomer as he was patchy at Cagliari too. Hopefully we can get the best out of him and he can become a valuable player for club (and as a replacement for Camoranesi) at some point for the Auzzuri. I'd wage a bet he'd want to join Napoli at some point... until then, Forza Foggia!

Definately a late bloomer .. but so was Luca Toni who is still a scoring machine.

I think his downfall is he's too small and he easily gets muscled but thats where his superb dribbling skills come into play and why he gets us free kicks. I'm sure he would want to play for Napoli .. but how many players play for their favorite teams anyways. Nest has done a fine job at Milan while I'm sure he would've preferred the baby blue shirt all those years.
