Sorry for digging up and old thread, but I absolutely love this little guy (I have Foggia 17 on my shirt) and its really nice to read through this thread and see that alot of you guys feel the same, that hes a great player who deserves more chances than he gets.

Its sad that im sure he will leave this summer, he wants to play, and he wont do that here. Delio Rossi seemed to like him, Reja seems not to.

Along with Mauri, he is my favourite current player (all time faves being Fiore and Peruzzi), and I often get shouts of "pasquelino" when wearing my shirt to Olimpico.

Heres hoping he gets more game time for us, but if he chooses to move, then I genuinely wish him the best.

I always did like him, but he just never seemed to have that breakout game. But "il foletto napoletano", being a true napoletano, will not leave for a smaller team where he will have to take less money. He said he wants to stay at Lazio. boh?

He said a few days ago that he has a contract till 2013 and is happy here, something he always says (who wouldnt be happy here) but every summer I fear he will leave to get more game time elsewhere.

He played several times in Coppa Italia, and came on as a sub in league a few times. But he was also injured quite a bit. So both.

I feel Foggia's potential was never harnessed properly. Or then he was just average from the beginning with the occasional flash of brilliance. He played well in the beginning of the Ballardini season in a couple of games but when he did play this season even a bit I usually just hoped he would disappear somewhere, somehow. He has become a useless tit on the bench and I doubt he will ever recover from that. In hindsight, he should have been sent on loan again to Parma or some such team last summer.

I am surprised that there has not been an avalanche of foggiavattenes in this thread, to be honest.

^ Yeah, I am quite surprised he was not at the least loaned out to give him a chance to play and prove himself. Perhaps that's an indication of an injury. boh?

It's been long since he was one of my favourites with the biancoceleste shirt, maybe he will get more playing time as we are facing three competitions during the upcoming season.
