Recoba said he was trying to get Baretto for Inter. He says that Lazio made a shrewd move stealing him from the big clubs that wanted him and in the future (couple of years) he will become a star.

Ah Recoba, anyone remember his debut for Inter? Magic. A lot of hype around Barretto, potentially he could make his debut against Livorno on 6th of Jan 2010.

I'll save parading about this unknown kid when I see how he adapts in Serie A. I hope he can make an instant impact for us just like Pato did for Milan.

Barretto is great long term but will do fuck all in helping the team this season, maybe thats why though I agree most are invented by the media and not worth mentioning

Half boh. As much as I hate said rumours I understand the difficulties of talking about somebody none of us have actually seen. I mean, all of us are actually just repeating the same old points:

*potential
*talented
*young
*useful
*Pato

etc. I thought I'd start this topic off more for future then the present really. It will be fascinating to see whether the guy is the real deal i.e Jovetic class, or whether it's one of the biggest own goal in the media's history, tarring somebody with a brush and being way off the mark.

p.s. Theo - boh? (not to be confused with mah!) should be used in the context of ...who knows? when something doesn't really completely make sense.

Ah right, I thought Boh was like.... Agree? or.... Truth? or.... Yes?

Fecking canadian slang. One day I'll have you good and proper with some Wolverhampton lingo that'll confuse you to hell.

Bring it on! I may be Italo-Canadian but I grew up on a steady diet of Dr. Who (Baker naturally), Monty Python, Carry on, Benny Hill etc.

Btw, Boh? is typically Southern Italian.

who the f*CK  is baretto anyways ? Can someone please post a youtube video or tell me why I should be jumping up and down about this guy ? is he the next zidane like megni or the next buffon like carizzo ooooooor the next nesta like tuia .. or the next jan koller like kozak. This kid right now isn't worthy of any praise until he officially puts on the blue shirt and start scoring goals. But thanks lotito for getting us another striker we so desperately need right now.

I must ask Latius, something I've been thinking of for a while. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you are Canadian, correct? Which automatically makes you laid back, relaxed, and able to sleep with the doors open because of the ridiculously low crime rate. So where on earth do you get all this cynicism from?

Usually I consider europeans of the laid back and relaxed nature since canadians are mostely about more work and less play. But the topic is Lazio brother, and lately theirs been hardely anything to be happy about. The shit mercato + losing to shit teams isn't going to make me come here and spew out "this team has what it takes" or "ave lotitos". Hopefully tommorow's game will be worth getting up for and I can have something positive to write on this forum. I disect this team deeper than wins and losses but also who we play and how we win. Maybe my expectations are too high ??
