Honestly, I was a big fan of his and have been inclined to give him every possible benefit of the doubt but now that Rocchi is out, can we really go into battle with this guy? After the preseason games we've played I don't this guy could score with his hands!!! Granted that he was injured and was operated on this past spring but I, for one, have had enough. I say send him packing. Boh?!?!

Its like an insult to the fans and club just to have such a poor quality player on the field for a club like Lazio. I think the whole slogan Lotito Vattene needs to change to Makinwa Vattene.

For Makingwa UEFA should change it's rules and allow him to play with his hands(I doubt if that will work out). Probably he is the biggest disappointment in hole Lazio history and I don't realize why is he still given chance (when I say chance I mean about sitting on the bench) instate of same youngsters form our academy. I think it is the best if we swap him with another player even if we get a moron. It is stupid from our side to give him so much publication, long story-short we should kick him off as soon as possible no more to say

mendicino should take his place on the bench. makinwa and del nero are serie b players. why rossi insists to play with them instead giving a chance to the youngsters. makinwa haven't scored on an official match, it's a shame for him and the club.
his next destination should be back home in nigeria where he should work on his agricultural skills. who took this "player" in serie a, anyway?

Makinwa should go and Crespo should come, then our Attack would be fine!

Agreed! I'll take a Crespo, I'm sure nobody was expecting another striker out of the mercato and we can do with a useful backup which we dont have when we want to play 3 strikers on.

Makinwa is terrible, does anybody else feel as if he's certain to lose the ball when he receives it? I feel the exact same way about Mauri. I really don't know why Delio keeps giving him chances, i've got a bad feeling Delio prefers Makinwa to Zarate, i wonder what it will take for Rossi to lose his faith in this flop.

MAKINWA, The agent: "He is fine at Lazio"

Source: DATASPORT

Lazio forward Stephen Makinwa's agent Silvano Martina has declared: "He is fine at Lazio, there is no negotiation with Chievo. The trainer admires him and I don't think that something will happen within the end of the market"

Just imagine Chievo it is possible to buy Inzaghi and Makingwa. If they are so stupid I will bet on 100000$ that they will be relegated. Lazio + Me = happy

They're talking about a swap with Makinwa and Bogdani. If you ask me its trading one useless player for a mediocre one. Makinwa hasn't scored in two years or 3 goals in 3 years ... and bogdani who's 31 hasn't been extremely impressive but has found the net 7 times last year and 13 the year before.

i agree with the other post that crespo might be a little too much. We need someone to fill in for rocchi's missed games and spending a lot of money doesnt make sense.

Wow I just read that Makinwa is favored over Zarate for the centre forward position. How shit is that .. the biggest signing of the year is second to our shittiest striker. Wake up Lotito! All the other teams have beefed up considerablly. I think we started off with good intentions but now it looks like the Lazio Staff are asleep once again. I think my rating isn't going to be that hard when i not only look at how we've handled the rest of the market but also how other teams have made more impressive moves in the market.

If Rossi knows that makinwa is put ahead of zarate in the pecking order, clearly thats a sign that we shouldnt sign a shit player from serie b but someone who we can depend on.

Ok big question now. What is going on with Zarate? I have read that he is in very poor form last few matches, and if rossi clams that Makingwa is better that is real shit. By the way who is Zarate? He isn't some star player , or big goalscorer. I think we have too much problems upfront. We need a new attacker and we need him now!
