I never thought I'll say this, but I want Zarate to leave us. One guy says he wants to stay for years, the other says he would like to go back to premier league, ballardini says he could be a lazio symbol (ridiculous) etc... fuck him

This will all come down to money, if he wants to go to the premiership fine but pay up. THough if he keeps playing like he is the bids may be lower than expected.

We are surely facing one very confusing and chaotic situation at our beloved club.

Confusing is exactly it. I'm still trying to work out whether these reports have any truth to them whatsoever.

Today against Palermo I saw a glimpse of a zarate that is tantalizing - he set up Floccari and made several passes that made my hair stand. If he learns to play like this regularly not only will Lazio triumph, he will be one of the best in the world. Daje Maurito!

Yep he's regaining he's form and passion for the game again, hope he continues. Grazie tanto Zarate.

Your easily pleased then. Makes hair stand over Zarate passes? Mamma mia. I get hair stands if Lazio pick up a trophy or something. Or if they win a derby and the atmosphere is loud. Couple of assists for an over-rated player doesn't do it for me. But even more ridiculous is Zarate being one of the best in the world. Mah! Same as Balotelli. Nothing between the ears. Your entitled to your opinion but I didn't necessarily have you down as a flag-waving bullshitter. Did or did Zarate not miss a sitter or two? And what has he done apart from assists last night in earlier part of the season, not exactly much. Zarate will be a good player, sometimes very good. But one of the best in the world is hands down the most ludicrous thing I have ever seen on the forum. Infact, make that the second most ludicrous thing... Foggia being World Class is the champion of that.

I have to disagree, Zarate has been off form this season but the magic he conjured up last season was something very special. I cannot remember any player since Mancini / Veron who could make a beautiful goal out of nothing. If all you want is someone who can put the ball in the net lets bring Dario Hubner out of retirement. Delio Rossi managed to bring some of that magic out of Zarate, just imagine what a really good manager could do. He is still worth the entrance money.

Claudio Lopez... Goran Pandev... Marcelo Salas? Just to name a few. If all you want is someone to occasionally do an assist or an goal, then I can understand your viewpoint. But I want consistency, a good attitude, team ethic AND the ability to create magic. Zarate doesn't have it. And he cost us 22 million.

If Zarate learns he will come good, but will he ever? Him and his brother are dumb as shit and the guy just doesn't pass. Sure he made an assist but still, most of the time he tries to go all by himself and disrespects the team. There was an incident in the Palermo game were we took a short corner, Zarate went past a player and someone was open in the box, I was screaming PASS but NO, Zarate tried to dribble and eventually lost the ball, another attack ruined by the dipshit.

I don`t think that Rossi did that. By my opinion the first reason was that he played with Pandev and Ledesma and now he is playing next to the shitiest midfield in the liga and second reason is Zarate was a rookie in serie A last year and he still didn`t considered himself for ``one of the best``.Namely,he tried to do last year what he was asked for (to get good contract from Lotito) and this year he thinks he is more important than the team itself.

Interesting choice of examples, Lopez actually cost about the same as Zarate but was much more ineffective only really benefiting from playing with Crespo. Pandev was toilet for the first couple of seasons (Ancona reject) and even though he was good he never scored goals from distance like Zarate. If you actually watched Lazio every week when Salas was playing you'll remember he was good in the first half of the season and then terrible / injured in the second. Both Lopez and Salas arrived with much more experience than Zarate and hopefully he'll mature with time.
