That may not be a bad thing at all. From what i've read it would be a ban from football for Lotito, not for Lazio and no points penalty or anything like that.
just a ban from physically being at the games. not goood enough, cant they ban him from talking to players, talking to the media, and making any and all decisions regarding the club. or for that matter, just remove lottio from the club entirely. I could actually start to like the Italian FA for once so to recap there is a very good chance that for at least one game lazio might be with out a President, coach, and a star player its a shame Lazio is a failing club, we would be a much better TV drama NO LOTTIO, SI PARTY!!!!! (wish it was for good)

The penalty for swearing is new and it's mainly aimed at blaspheming. Rocchi was the one who was possibly going to get a ban for this. Zarate was simply banned for his response to the ref. Again, his response was surely childish, but the ref did fuck up the call. So two games seems a little exaggerated.

Again, from what I understand it would be to remove him from the game, not one match but football entirely much like Moggi of Juve was/is. As for the swearing issue, when you are in the heat of sport its hard sometimes not to swear, get angry especially if bullshit confronts you. However, going mad in the officials face is just asking for it whether the call was incorrect of not.

I got the news about the transfers but how did I ever miss that crucial little bit, I wonder. It cannot be possible but I just really, really wish what you are saying is actually true and Lotito will be proven guilty.

Hate to break it to you guys but that's far from clear (i.e. that Lotito will be the only one penalized) there are those who speculate otherwise. At this point, I say to hell with everyone (yes everyone). i love Lazio and regardless of what happens I will continue to do so. We've been to the brink of this precipice and beyone before, we will survive.

If Lotito gets a ban it won't be like the Moggi incident will it? Moggi was a sporting director or something not the owner. If Lotito is found guilty they can't force him to sell or what? Some kind of ban maybe but he will remain the owner i guess.

*sigh* so your suggesting that Zarate's ban is somewhat unjust? I remember Cassano getting a 2 or 3 game ban for one of his tantrums last season. So what's the problem? Or instead are you suggesting even that the rule was brought in just to fuck up Lazio? And for Lotito, are we the only club that has been investigated for (alleged) corruption? Err... how about no. Let's say I don't really need to give examples of several other teams that have gone through that. You really are full of $hit sometimes.

What are you on about? I'm talking about about Lotitio's possible ban. I suggested, earlier, that two games is exaggerated not, as you imply, unjust. If i wanted to say unjust, I would have. Cassano, for the record, got the ban for threatening to fight the ref after the match - which is kind of different. as for suggesting Lotito is unjustly being investigated, I didn't say that either (such a lot of words you put in the mouths if others it's a wonder you have any left to fill your own!).
The offending statement is more an expression of stoicism in the face of all of this nonesense we must endure as fans. I frankly resign myself to whatever happens, on and off the field.

Don't fool yourself that Lotito will get ban or something. Remember he is still waiting the jail for stock manipulation . This is Italy damn it, he can appeal for another 10 years and then go out free of charge. Zarate is moron. Reaction like that while we facing relegation is beyond me. If he was "that' passionate on field he would be the best goalscorer so far. Vafa... ......

The fans want Maurito in the CN, which would be nice IMO, but that likely won't happen since Lotito would rather have him set on fire in the parking lot than sit in the CN. I think Lotito should also sit in the CN for this match.

The fans want Maurito in the CN,
... didn't he tell the CN to shut up earlier on in the season? I bet the CN have forgotten that however. The fact they cheered Firmani but protested everybody else as well means they have zero credibility anyway atm.

^^^ Nevertheless, the invitation has officially been sent and the club must give permission. I sort of think it might be a watershed moment if they allowed it. I remember Shevchenko sitting in the Milan Curve for a match, it was quite moving.

I remember Salas in CN one time. But he was hero wasn't he. There are two options: 1) Lotito won't do such a thing coz of his relation with CN 2) He can do it to save his little reputation even thought there is not much left. Worst case scenario, Lazio loses + Zarate defend his team mates = Zarate gets beaten cioe CN wins

Worst case scenario, Lazio loses + Zarate defend his team mates = Zarate gets beaten cioe CN wins I doubt zarate would go for it and though I am sure he has support there is most likely a large section that would be angry at him for just the reason that got him there. Shevchenko sat in the curva as a sign of respect for the years they supported him before he left for Chelsea, this is not quite the same thing.
