Mutarelli Considers Lazio Legal Action
Lazio midfielder Massimo Mutarelli is seriously considering the idea of suing his current club for the way he has been treated, with the player excluded from the current pre-season training camp.

Mutarelli is far from happy with the way the Biancocelesti are behaving with him. This was confirmed by his agent Lorenzo Marronaro who also revealed that there might be legal consequences following his meeting with president Claudio Lotito.

"My client is extremely annoyed with the situation he is going through," declared Marronaro to Noiaquilebiancocelesti.com.

"Not even my declarations of some days ago, which hinted at all of our disappointment, have created a reaction from the coach or president.

"I had to speak with Lotito on Thursday, but I did not succeed. Depending on what will be said, we shall decide whether to act legally against the club, considering that the player has been damaged."

--------------------------------------------------------

I think this club doesn't know how to handle selling players to be honest. Everyone that leaves has a problem with either lotito or the club itself more than them "having issues with their team mates" like we're led to believe. After serving Lazio for so long I think these players need to be treated with respect.

They said he might be staying now. I agree I think he's a fast and talented player maybe not meant for the full 90 minutes but he does give 100% when he's on the pitch and fights for balls. That goal in the derby was classic, he turned a missed opportunity into a golden goal.

Lets be real...I would have gave that goal Mutarelli have scored against merda, it was Mauri who set up...But its true that he is playing with heart and its surly better than Firmani or Baronio so I would like him to stay it would be good sub. 01

^^^ true, but I thought that it was his mid thigh challenge on sputotty that set the tone of that match.  Remember, then captain illiterate went around showing everyone his scratch and crying like a three year old. Muti is a real bulldog, but tends to get too many stupid cards. He can be useful.

This guy must stay, there are other people he is far better than that should have gone.
I hope he does stay and that will please me if the latest rumours are true.
some said we dont handle departing players well and that is true, maybe all that will change soon.

I think he can definitely still be valuable to this team..we still need grinding players like him on our team.  With losing Mudi I think we need Mutarelli as a hardworking guy in the midfield who can come in and make an impact.  Even though we have signed new talent to make a promising starting 11 we are going to need depth and guys that can come in and get the job done whenever necessary. Keep him and please Lotito stop treating our players like garbage...FORZA MUTARELLI

I agree. Muta is a player who shouldn't be  a starter but he's a guy who comes on and give his everything. He does need tone down on his tackles but on totti its acceptable. :P

I think last season we barely had a good starting 11 let alone depth which is what we need.

Lotito needs to build a better rapport with the players.

Today I just read Muta is lined again with Torino who really want him. Toro want to trade Barone for Muta, which I wouldn't agree with just take the money if he goes.

Mutarelli Missing Pre-Season Due To Team-Mates
Lazio midfielder Massimo Mutarelli is currently training on his own at Formello after some of his team-mates had opposed his reintegration into the squad.

Mutarelli has been told by Lazio president Claudio Lotito that it was his Biancocelesti team-mates who did not want him in the squad for the pre-season training camp.

"Initially I was in the list of called-up players for the pre-season training," explained the midfielder. "Two hours before the departure, I found out that I wouldn't have left.

"I discovered the truth the same day of the departure after following Lotito in Rome, and the president told me that that motivation was tied to dressing room problems, as some of the players had opposed themselves to my presence at the pre=season training.

"I know from the newspaper that the president tried to talk things out, but some players had opposed my reintegration.

"If this was the truth, I must deduct that the players are more important than the coach and president, otherwise Lotito lied to me."

Yeah I'm curious to know what happened there. I heard there were problems in the change room and other players talked bad about Mutarelli. I'll come back with a more educated and detailed answer when I can get one.
