Piojo Lopez officially retired from professional football now that his contract with Colorado has expired.

One of my favorites. Never forget his blazing speed, and of course las ketchup!

Ciao Piojo! Grazie di tutto!

A great player. He never quite, in my opinion, lived up to the absolute world class ability he showed at Valencia when at Lazio but he was a top top player. Good luck Claudio.

A shame that he did not exactly go out in a blaze of glory but there will always be those who remember him fondly.

I will never forget his hat trick against Inter and how he piloted the Mancini side to the top of the table against all odds during the autumn of 2002.
