YES LAZIO HAVE ALREADY MADE A PURCHASE ON THE TRANSFER MARKET!

None other than Rolando Bianchi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh shit I mean Sergio Floccari.  But seriously doesn't this seem all to familiar to when we signed Bianchi on loan?  The same year we did fuck all in CL we signed Bianchi in Jan.  Now we went out of EL. with a whimper.  Here to save the day another striker.  Was this at all necessary with Gonzalo waiting in the wings?

I don`t know much about Floccari but I still think that central defenders and midfielders are much important at this time. Somebody have to create chances for the attackers and somebody have to stop the opposite attackers. Anyways, welcome Floccari I hope you`ll do your best for our shirt

Groce,

My thoughts exactly.  In order to build a winning team you must build from the back-out... Muslera is covered, Should have been a Central defender first and foremost.  Followed by 2 midfielders.  One holding Mid(Ledesma-esc) and a 2nd Attacking.  If only Lotito could work some Loan magic and land Giovinco for that role...the possibilities are mouthwatering.

Then and only then should we look to a new Striker.  Of course we decide to do everything ass-backwards.  Also love how Tare said he's not interested in Floccari and then Preziosi comes out and says a deal has already been established to send Floccari on loan to Lazio.  Get your stories straight Tare-gallo.

I agree that the midfield especially is in dire need of re-enforcements, and the defence too of course. But, at least now we don't have to turn to Cruz or in recent weeks even Makinwa and it should stop the arrival of one Maxi lopez. Floccari's arrival, and Baretto's, should mean the end for the other garbage strikers. Now we have a full month to focus on the midfield and defensive issues. Time can be no excuse for Tare and Lototti, they have plenty of it.

True, the situation is vaguely similar - but Bianchi was a lark. He did nothing at City and he was (is) young and it was a good idea as a lark to see if Bianchi could replicate what he did at Reggina. Floccari is more experienced and more consistent. He's been a good player for years and gemerally nets around 10 goals a year. He also sems to worsk better in the Balla formation with the 1-3  or 2-1 up front. Floccari can pass and dribb;e and score. he's good at opening up the defense with incisive runs. I think he can work well with Zarate in tandem. I think a Zarate-Floccari tandem with Rocchi or Barretta up top could be very dangerous.

Let's hope all u say is true. Anyway I'm overjoyed with the transfer because I didn't expect to buy something before the beginning of 2010. Now a midfileder is needed :)

Welcome, Sergio!

Just to confirm that I approve of this deal. I'm a little excited of Rocchi and Floccari playing up front together, if defensive Balla will permit such a thing.

from skysports.com

Regarding Floccari, Preziosi added: "There is the agreement with Lazio. He will go there on loan.

"I think the player will be pleased playing for the Biancocelesti."

Good move from Lotito and Tare, but we still need CB and DM. Renew Ledesma contract would be a good option. I hope Lotito learn something from Pandev's saga
