Rozehnal on the other hand was one of the worst defenders I've had the misfortune of seeing play for Lazio.

Absurd. He was great for us. Far more people agree with me on that I'm sure.

Besides, wtf is your agenda anyway. Quoting me from November 2009?

Na, I was quoting 'Latius' from 2010. "He's a step up from the flops picked up over the mercato (Dias and Biava). I can't believe we lost Rozehnal and Lollo for these two clowns."
I dunno what agenda you think I have. Merely my opinion, I know a lot of people liked Rozehnal. A lot of people also didn't like him. For me, he was at fault for a ridiculous number of goals we conceded from balls played into the box.

I have always liked Willy, and continue to like him (you can go to the archives if you wish to prove it ). As for Dias, I knew nothing about him when he came though I was rather skeptical (if not as skeptical as Theo). Nonetheless, I will admit Dias has beeen rather solid for us of late so hopefully he continues to get better as he gains Serie A experience.

Stendardo has been consistent and our only real automatic starter at the back, in the past he seemed worse maybe just the players around him now make him look like a superstar or going to the Juve bench gave him a refreshment on reality.  If Rozenhal had stayed the centre backs would have at least been satisfactory.   Good defenders don't get talked about in positives as often as when they fuck up.  With Radu more defensive minded and Lich on the other side the back line would have been stable.   With Dias or Biava or insert other useless garbage there is also a weak point that can cost us a game.

Agreed with Caput Mundi. Rozenhal was awful... he wasn't bad, he was awful. If some think Diakite is awful then I don't know what Rozenhal was. It was either foul or miskick the ball. He did nothing right. People only thought he was good because he had international experience. When he left I couldn't have cared any less. If Rozenhal's absence is the reason why Stendardo got another chance at Lazio then I can't see any thin-headed Lazio fan to be happy with his departure.

You judge players for Lazio based on stereotypical appearence, i.e Tall, strong and black, or small and quick... but I just base them on ability and performance.

Hands down, categorically, Diakite has made more mistakes then Rozenhal has made in his Lazio career. When I saw Rozenhal live he had Cassano in his back pocket all game. And all season long he did a marvellous job defending, might I add with Siviglia and Cribari next to him most of the time... but then for some reason was dropped which then coincided with a ghastly winless streak, remember it?

Put a prime Maldini, Vidic, whoever the fuck you want next to Diakite and bad things will happen. He is completely unreliable, a useless airhead with characteristics befitting a basketball player - which can work in football, if the player has the natural ability to back it up. Diakite doesn't.

I don't give a flying fuck what height, weight or skin colour a player has, I do not have preference, nor am I fanboy over certain players to cloud my judgements, I see things for what they really are.  Right now our best defenders are Radu and Stendardo. We have defended better with those two playing next to each other, Lichsteiner and, lately, Dias. The worst defenders we have at our team at the moment are  Biava, Siviglia and Diakite. That is the way things are!

Agree, except for that i think Diakite is as good/bad as Dias, both can play a very good match until they do some kind of simpel mistake.

And those who think that Rozehnal is useless should think again, he wasn't worldclass but absolutely not useless!

In all fairness, I think Diakite should be allowed to kick Toni in the face and then we're even.
