I love how durring the interview on piazzadellaliberta.it that 90% of the questions were related to the derby.

I noticed the same thing on a lot of sites about how he references the derby. This guy seems pretty hard core. I hope he stays with us for a long time.

That is exactly what i think, he is passionate and i hope he stays long and win titles, I hope also that we dont become a feeder team to other big clubs in italy and abroad, not just for carizzo but zarate and others too.

Carrizo agent happy with Lazio terms
tribalfootball.com - July 08, 2008

The Italian agent of Juan Pablo Carrizo is delighted with the terms they negotiated with Lazio.
Carrizo signed from River Plate over the weekend and Federico Pastorello said: "I did it personally yesterday evening. I am satisfied that everything in the end has been resolved in the best possible way."

Carrizo: I Want To Be Like Peruzzi
Lazio's new Argentine goalkeeper Juan Pablo Carrizo knows who he wants to imitate as he looks forward to his first game at the Stadio Olimpico...

Tonight is an important night for Lazio players and their fans. The Biancocelesti will play their first game of the season at the Stadio Olimpico in front of their home crowd. The encounter will be against Greek side PAOK Salonica.

The main attraction will undoubtedly be the unveiling of the Lazio squad to the fans, with new arrivals getting their first taste of the Lazio atmosphere. Even those of the squad that are away at the Olympics will be presented through video messages.

The major attraction of tonight's game will therefore be the new arrivals and the opportunity to see them in the flesh. One of these newcomers that is highly anticipated is the Argentine goalkeeper Juan Pablo Carrizo. The 24-year-old will be making his Olimpico debut and he is looking forward to it.

“Finally, after all this time I am here, now I want to help the team and start this new adventure,” said the keeper.

Carrizo knows that his predecessor was a goalkeeping great and a legend to the Lazio faithful. The young goalkeeper said, “Peruzzi was a great goalkeeper and I want to do well, just as he did.”

The Argentine has been tipped to be a Lazio favourite and a great player for the club in the coming years.

Earlier today, I was watching Argentina vs Paraguay and the first goalie Abbodanzieri got injured. So he was subed by Carrizo who had himself a pretty good match.
It was fun to watch him play in the same team as Messi, Aguero, Riquelme, and all the other stars and know that he's now our goalie.

Lotito: Carrizo Will Make An Important Contribution
Lazio president Claudio Lotito believes that Juan Pablo Carrizo was an important purchase for the club as he has given security to the entire team thanks to his decisive saves during this early part of the season.
The Biancocelesti started the new season in the best possible way, and apart from Mauro Zarate, Carrizo has also been hailed as one of the players behind their re-birth.

"As a representative of the club I chose him (Carrizo) with the knowledge that he could do well," declared the Lazio president.

"Obviously he only played three games but I hope that he continues like this and that the team, with Carrizo in goal, can give an important contribution by giving confidence to the rest of the team."

Lazio will be facing Milan this weekend in an important test for Lotito's side.

"We have our feet well stuck to the ground," he said. "We are still in the second match of the league and now we shall face the third one against a stellar squad.

"We must go to Milan and be humble but with determination, which matured in the last two games, with the certainty that we have a gelled group.

"Only with this spirit we can have these results."

It is good really and to think that he is next online and is our first choice is really good, u know we could have signed abondanzieri and ustari too.
I hope Zarate will get a call soo and if he keeps on like this he sure will. The olympics would have been a sweet platform for him.
