Hello all!
My wife and I will be heading to Rome on April 9th and are so looking forward to seeing the Lazio v Parma match on April 10th. Any advice for a fan coming from out of town on getting tickets? Getting to stadium? Where to go before game to drink and meet Lazio fans?
Thanks so much in advance for any assistance. My wife is obsessed with everything Rome and it's my first time and I can't wait.
Scott

If you are planning to sit in the famliy section/Monte Mario Tribuna etc. all you need to do is when you arrive in Rome go to:
VIA CALDERINI 66 ROMA
+39.06.32.54.17.45
If you want to sit in Curva Nord/Distinti Nord...PM Me

Enjoy ...
I would say try to get tickets in Curva Nord - best atmosphere.
As for stadium - if coming from Vatican get bus 32 from Piazza Risorgamento €1. If from Termini bus 910 and if metro, get off at flamino and follow crowd to connecting bus (once tram).
Make sure you take ID, when you go you have to show photo ID to prove who you are.
How long are you there for?

Hey Scotty, did you go? I was at that game.
Getting tickets, and getting to the stadium is really easy, I bought my ticket from the official store near Termini, I was in Tevere right next to Curva Nord. I actually walked from Flaminio metro stop to the stadium, took me about 30 minutes but was a nice stroll along the river, and I was in no rush.
Took my passport as ID, but I look and speak Italian, so I wasnt asked for ID by anyone.
Had the time of my life, as always when I go. Im back in 2 weeks to see us beat Genoa.

Peruzzi please tell me as it seems you are a citizen of Rome. What is the big deal (especially from the irriducibilli) to show i.d to go to the games? I remember pre-season the irriducibilli were upset and refused to go to the lazio games. What is the big deal of showing i.d to buy tickets? have the irriducibilli returned?

I dont live in Rome unfortunately, one day I hope to!
Do you mean the 1900 card? I know alot of fans dont like it. Basically you need this card to buy tickets to away games, and to buy a season ticket. It is like a form of ID card, designed to stop violence at games.
Personally I dont see the big deal, but I know alot of fans disagree.
You can still buy tickets to home games without one (I have), you need ID to buy any ticket as your name is printed on the ticket to stop people re-selling them, but you can use your passport, driving licence, etc, as ID.
If you look like a tourist, or a trouble-maker, you will be asked to show ID and possibly searched before entering the stadium, but as I say, I look local, so I was left alone.

Ya he went...He flooded my e-mails with help and then took off. I have no idea how it went either? Just another fake fan joining a forum for info and then taking off. Disappointed to say the least.
