Dear Laziali,

Our project is moving along faster than we thought.  Sorry for the amount of e-mails in the past week but it’s paramount that we get a good idea of who is in and who is out with our project going forward.  Unfortunately Lazio will not be shown live on TV this week so our meeting set for Sunday @ Curva Nord Bar will have to be abandoned.

The good news as I mentioned, is that we are moving rapidly to completing our mission to having our Club Headquarters stationed in the Curva Nord basement.  People have already begun coming forward with the $50.00 going towards our new TV of 42” that we are planning on buying as well as having your name etched in our Lazio Club Canada Commemorative Plaque.   Thanks to the efforts of Mike Fantauzzi  who will again be handling the role of interior decorating as well as making room for our memory wall which will include anyone’s photos or newspaper clippings, or calendars whatever it may be of Lazio that we can all post on the wall to give the clubhouse some character.  Not to mention there is also a kitchen available to us if any of us want to test our culinary skills.  Paolo Barba  will also be looking into getting us on the agenda for the next Lazio Federation meeting so that we may be recognzied as an official supporters club and work up some more conncetions with the Federation.

Keep in mind Serie A takes a break for International Playoffs next week so we will move our next date of assembly to Saturday November 19th, vs Napoli @ 2:45pm.  If you would like to send the money online I am also open to that as well either via pay pal (dimascio@live.ca) or by your bank institution online e-mail transfer.

Look forward to seeing you all out on the 19th!

Where:  Curva Nord Bar

              772 Wilson Ave

              North York, ON

When:  Saturday Novemeber 19th, 2011

At:  2:45pm

I saw a car today with the license plate 'LAZIOFAN' with a Lazio sticker on the rear window. Was that anyone here?     My heart melted when I saw it. I remember Signori on this forum had the license player 'AMOLAZIO'.    I always wanted a custom plate, but never thought too much of it. I love when I see Lazio support and merchandising when I go around and about on other people.

Dear Laziali

It might not have been pretty but we’ve escaped Naples with a point.  Which is saying a lot considering the Napoletani usually do all the stealing.  Now we must think only about Juventus…

When it comes to hated thieves: Reubentus isn’t just any nickname we give to the likes of Yuve.  No matter what country you live in, sadly they are the most supported Italian team.  Either you’re a fan of the zebras or you downright hate them and all their part-time fans.  Saturday is no different.  We continue to support on the home front here in Toronto just like we did last Saturday @ Curva Nord.  Thank You to all those who came out as well.

Things are moving well and the plan is to have the new TV installed ready for Saturday’s match @ 2:45pm.  For those of you coming bring any extra Lazio paraphernalia that you don’t mind parting with so we can continue decorating our spot in the basement.  Also I’ll continue collecting the funds for the television and plaque so please bring your $50.  Speaking of donations…I want to give an extra shout out to a generous donation from our friend Alessandro Di Cesare in Montreal for his generous donation.  You are always welcome here in Toronto Alex!

Besides that lets just get this week done and concentrate on the Reube and keeping the Sky Blue in first place!

See you Saturday:

From Canada to Rome, and all across the World:  A Very Merry Christmas goes out to all our Laziali showing off their great Lazialita every day of every year. You’re pride and belief in the first team of Rome does not go unnoticed.  Today The North Curve and Lazio Club Canada Salute you and shares its warm wishes through photos of the last few outings at Curva Nord Bar which we have literally transformed over night to our sanctuary for cheering, yelling, and indulging in our favorite club:  S.S. Lazio.
All fans wishing to make the trek to Toronto are always welcome.

NOW IF WE COULD ONLY FIND WHO STOLE OUR KLOSE POSTER!

If that Klose poster is not back by the end of the break, we'll start a grand inquisition

Looks like you did a great job guys!

Probably one of those old farts stole the Klose picture. Some witnesses provided a sketch of the possible thief:

Dear Laziali

As we get ready for part 2 of the Serie A Season I’d like to first and foremost wish you and your families:  A Happy New Year e Felice Anno Nuovo!

Minus the last game of 2011 we have a lot to look forward to in 2012 with our beloved SS Lazio.  Of course the mercato news that swirls from today until the end of the month also plays a part in our excitement.

On a personal note I was really proud of us Laziali here in the GTA, as we managed to get everything together in such short time to house ourselves in the new club headquarters at Curva Nord Bar.  That being said it would be nice to still make up the difference in cost for our television.  We have got the cost down to only $100.00 left to pay.  Other than that we continue where we left off @ CN Bar for another Lazio match this Saturday:

Siena vs Lazio

January 7, 2012 12:00 PM EST
Stadio Comunale Artemio Franchi - Montepaschi Arena — Siena

See you all in the Curva,

Curva Nord Bar

Laziali!

Last night me and Mike Dimascio visited the Supino Social club in Woodbridge. This place is incredible, there is no other way to put it. It makes Curva Nord look like nothing. For those who are familiar with the Sporting House in Toronto, it resemble some similarities. We need to give a HUGE thank you to Daniele Rossi, our newest member of Lazio Club Canada. Without Daniele's help and push to make us residents of Supino, we would still be wondering gypsies bitter from our "eviction" from Curva Nord.

Supino is a full functioning bar, with beer, liquors, coffee and Italian drinks and even paninos. Daniele even volunteered himself to graciously cook breakfast for us on 9AM games, for a set prices of around 5 bucks or so. The same applies to afternoon games, with lunch being a definite option. Our goal is too have our grand opening on Sunday, February 19th at 2:45 PM against Palermo. It would be great if everyone could attend.

Attached you will find pictures of Supino Social Club.

Finally we have a place to hang our hats!

NON MOLLARE MAI!

Fantastic Photos Giuliano!

The Supino Social Club definitely exceeded my expectations and is now a chance for young and old to come together and shed their "part-time" Lazio fan status and make it a FULL TIME ONE!  ONE CLUB, ONE FAITH, ONE BANNER.
Noi siamo qua, sempre con te, unica fede unica passione

If The Lega Serie A does not move the game start time forward on Thursday from 2:45pm to 9am EST Marc Fantauzzi Myself and Daniele will hopefully be there to open the bar up and start our moving in process.  Obviously the Palermo game in 2 weeks is a great target but i've already got confirmations from people outside of the GTA who will be coming for the Derby, from Montreal to New York: It should be a real spectacle this year.

See you Thursday,

Michael Di Mascio

That looks awesome. But do we have the privilege to give the place more Laziale culture to it? i.e putting in our Lazio decor. The Frosinone banner is cool, but the Riom one must or at least should go.

And I love the location,, from a half hour away to CN bar to 5 minutes away.
