i found this article this morning on Channel4.com. I'm not expect him to Lazio,we need young and talent player.

Brocchi signs for Lazio
Thursday 28 August, 2008
Milan continue to trim their squad and have officially announced the sale of midfielder Cristian Brocchi to Lazio.

After adding Ronaldinho and Mathieu Flamini to their ranks, the Diavolo found Brocchi to be surplus to requirements.

Brocchi made few starts last term in spite of playing 29 times in 2006-07 - a career high number of outings.

The 32-year-old who spent the 2005-06 season on loan to Fiorentina has joined Lazio on a permanent basis with the fee believed to be around £2.2m.

Lazio had been looking for a new recruit after the sale of Belgian international midfielder Gaby Mudingayi to Bologna earlier in the summer.

Milan have now let Alberto Paloschi, Wily Aubameyang, Massimo Oddo and Brocchi go within the last 48 hours.

I don't agree with this move.  And he definately doesn't deserve to be in his price range for his age and terms coming to lazio. I wish him well in the season and i'll probably become a fan .. but this is just another sign we have a long way to go before we compete again for a CL spot  with choices like this.

This move is mainly for risk-control, and i think it is reasonable.

He is the only serie-a-proven player in our new squad.  Zarate, Mat, Lic, Carrizo are all unproved, and so they are risky plays.

More optimism from players ... I think they will publish one of these a week with a different players name.

Brocchi: Lazio Are Ready For Europe
Lazio's new arrival Cristian Brocchi believes that Lazio can be a force in Europe...

A deal was recently struck with AC Milan to acquire midfielder Brocchi and the player has now moved to Lazio from the Rossoneri. The transfer was completed a few days before the start of the Italian league and the player is already settling nicely in his Roman surroundings.

In an interview with the Gazzetta dello Sport, the midfielder spoke about his opinion of Lazio so far. When questioned about his impression of Lazio coach Delio Rossi, the tough player responded, “He is serious. Tactically he reminds me of Prandelli.”

Brocchi went on to say that, for Lazio not to disappoint the fans, there is a specific objective that must be reached. The key milestone that Brocchi has earmarked is a European spot.

Brocchi was then asked if any of the Lazio players surprised him with their talent. The midfielder automatically responded, “Aleksandar Kolarov. Remember this, he will become a great player.”

The hard working Brocchi is a no-nonsense midfield general, but his departure from Milan was a difficult one. The player knows that in two weeks he must face his old team mates in the league. He said on the matter: “I would have preferred to play them later on. Now it will seem like I never even left.”

I think this guy is a good player and we did well to sign him.
It will be interesting to see how he competes with dabo when Dabo returns from injury, that goes to show that our midfield is reall good.

He made me smile with joy when he talked of kolarov,i think we all have said it here that kolarov will be great. I hope Kolarov remains here for a long time and win stuffs for us.

I think I prefer Dabo over Brocchi. I don't think he played that well yesterday. Probably my least favorite player we picked up over the mercato.

He is just an experienced addition and the days ahead will tell who the coach will rely on.

I think either is a good solid choice. A team needs mny components, we can't have 11 young guns, we need solid experienced types like Brocchi, I acn't say I dislike his play.

I think a lot of people have a predisposed notion to dislike Brocchi just because he is an older guy we picked up who is probably making too much money compared to our other players.  Realistically though he played pretty decent against Samp and didnt make many mistakes.  He is strong on the ball and played a great ball to Pandev to set up the second goal.  I think him and Dabo are pretty much interchangeable, they both offer us strong experienced play in the midfield even if its not flashy.
