Pandev, Ledesma and now De Silvestri all want to leave. Great, key individuals all want out. We will be back to sqaure 1 if we are not careful. Guess none of the deadwood wants out though, oh no. Nice contracts that they would not get elsewhere so they are content to rot on the Olimpico bench. Slowly but surley, im getting sick of this.

Agree.
I can't see Lotito making the important level up with Lazio. Every year the same story, as you say we have the same deadwood for the last 5 years and all good players were just leaving. Is Lotito capable to stop this process. When Lazio will try to be competitive in Europe, but for real.

I was reading Sabatini was trying to swap simplico for pandev .. nice try though. Maybe simplicio + 10 million would be fair. Looks like we'll be using carizzo as leverage for matuzalem which is good. If Carizzo goes on loan maybe he'll improve. Still a lot of house cleaning that needs to be done and I think desilvestri, pandev and ledesma were'nt the names I was hoping to see leave .. we'll maybe ledesma. Genoa and Napoli seem up to beefing up their teams. I hope if anyone leaves its soon so we can move on to doing business.

If we get good money for pandev i will sanction the move.
I am not too keen on de silvestre staying, he is back up and still far from lich level.(If he goes and get better, he may return one day.)
Ledesma can go today.

Igli Tare: Lorenzo De Silvestri Has Asked To Leave Lazio
The Aquile director has confirmed the defender has handed in a transfer request and Genoa have already made contact.
Right-back Lorenzo De Silvestri looks poised to leave hometown club Lazio and could relocate to northern Italy to join Genoa, director of sport Igli Tare has revealed.

“I can confirm that De Silvestri has asked to be released and Genoa are the only club to have shown an interest,” he told Pianetagenoa1893.net.

“There is nothing concrete with the Rossoblu at the moment but there has already been contact. I don’t think the clubs will meet by the end of this week, though. But there is still a lot of time and we are in no hurry.”

De Silvestri came through the Laziali youth academy but grew frustrated at his lack of playing time last term after mustering just 12 starting appearances in Serie A.

“We only want lads who are proud of wearing the Biancocelesti shirt and we will not force anyone to stay,” continued the Albanian official.

“De Silvestri has expressed his desire to find a new destination and we will try to please him. Will he leave on loan? We are ready to evaluate all the options with extreme care.”

South Africa's Siboniso Gaxa Sought By Serie A Clubs
Mamelodi Sundowns defender Siboniso Gaxa says he is flattered by reports that he is on the wanted list of three Italians teams.
Gaxa displayed some of the best performances of his career while wearing the South Africa jersey during the FIFA Confederations Cup.

News emerging from the Bafana Bafana camp is that the Sundowns defende,r along with Israel based defender Tsepo Masilela, have already received offers from overseas, with the former reportedly being tracked by Cagliari, Lazio and Udinese in Italy, according to overseas reports.

Speaking to KickOff.com, the KwaZulu/Natal-born player says he has not officially received an offer from any Italian team but is ready to jump at any opportunity of playing overseas.

“It is every player's dream of playing overseas and it is encouraging that some other people have taken note my performances during the Confederations Cup with a view to helping me realise my dream of playing in Europe," he smiled.

Meanwhile, Prosport International director Mike Makaab confirmed interest in Masilela from Europe.

"There has been big interest for Masilela in Europe, but at this stage I am not ready to disclose the names of the teams that are enquiring,” said Makaab.

Id be very sad to see him go, I had hoped they would have pushed him up onto the right wing. He should look to Radu as an example. Another very talented player who lost his place to Kolarov but he has not moaned, indeed he has waited patiently and may now get his reward with a chance at Centre back next season.

Lazio near Matuzalem switch
Wednesday 1 July, 2009
Lazio are in Spain organising an ambitious swap deal for Matuzalem, whose club Real Zaragoza will get Juan Pablo Carrizo in return.

Matuzalem spent last season on loan with the Biancocelesti and impressed the club, making 14 appearances in Serie A.

Even after paying £17m for Mauro Zarate, Lazio are still keen to reinforce their team ahead of next season.

However, there is not much money left in the coffers so Carrizo, who flopped last year, will be offered in exchange.

Lazio have already taken steps to replace the Argentine goalkeeper, signing Albano Bizzarri from Catania.

Carrizo alone isn't likely to be enough to convince Zaragoza to part with Matuzalem, though.

La Gazzetta dello Sport understands that another £6m on top of Carrizo will change their mind and seal the deal.

Atalanta gets Acquafresca on loan from Inter -> Atalanta sells Floccari to Genoa*
*Genoa sign Floccari -> Genoa sells Milito to Inter

With high price tags on Ledesma and Pandev we are not seeing this rotation of players in our squad as no teams are willing to pay the price and Lotito/Tare stating they are not lowering the price. Ledesma's agent says there is interest from Fenerbache but they would like to stay in Italy. Hopefully a conclusion comes with Ledesma's case so we can replace him(hopefully with Nedved). This Pandev case looks lost and seems like it will never be sorted. So expect all Pandev replacement prospects to sign away to other clubs(Acquafresca) while Pandev and Lotito play a game of chicken here.

I really like this guy to stay, he is a good player.....but carizzo+6mil for him is high.

Think of it this way.. Carizzo's wages will be replaced with Bizzari's wages and we got Bizzari on a free transfer so really we are signing Matuzalem for 6 million euro fee which is pretty good... assuming this rumor is true.
