Players arrive from all countries all around the world and can't expect them to know everything about a teams history, they will look at the place in the standings and that is what they will think of the team.  We just need to build and RETAIN Quality players so hopefully Lotito gets a plan set and is willing to spend.  Not that good when the player has just signed and already looking into the future at moving on   Just as long as he plays well for a few seasons and helps get Lazio in the spotlight again in the league and europe.  Then great players will want to come here to stay.

You gat it and i think so too, but he should have tried to be sensible and diplomatic not to start talking of a move on yet.

Eliseu shouldn't be so sure Malaga will even be in La Liga so he can forget about returning. Impact players this year like zarate foggia muslera and many others fell in love with lazio for winning the coppa italia and the roman derby win which they now stress their love for the team. He will learn to love this team assuming racism stops in italy(Dabo had some instinces and is today looking to move to PSG). Eliseu is saying this now but wait until he is a vet with the team after a few years and understands his importance with the club.

I am aware that I am not playing with a big European club in Lazio but I do not want to stop here, I want to keep moving upwards.”

If these words are true, then the man is an idiot. He has not even played a single game for us yet, and he already sees us as a stepping stone. But worse, he insults us by effectively calling us a small team. We are not a small team, we are a capital city side who are second to only Inter in terms of trophies won in the last ten years or so. Better players than him are in the side already so he should redeem himself quick. Hopefully, he was misquoted.

Lazio Chasing Real Betis Striker Ricardo Oliveira - Report
The Biancocelesti are interested in the Brazilian forward...
Real Betis attacker Ricardo Oliveira could be back in Serie A according to tuttomercatoweb.com, as Lazio are reportedly interested in signing the Brazilian player.

Oliveira played for AC Milan during the 2006-07 season, making 26 appearances in Serie A for the Rossoneri and scoring just three goals in a disappointing campaign.

Now the Biancocelesti are trying to sign the 29-year-old in order to boost their forward line, considering the likely departure of striker Goran Pandev.

However, the Roman side want Oliveira on a loan deal with the option of buying him at the end of the season, a solution which Betis does not seem to appreciate too much.

This will most likely mean more weeks of negotiations before his future is resolved, even though it is unlikely that Lazio would match any fee request made by the Spanish club.

If he did well last term for betis, i would not mind him............he may be second time lucky in italy for lazio.
H escored just 3 times for milan but he got a lot of games. That means to me that the coach had confidence in him.

"Eliseu Eager To Get Started With Lazio
The midfielder cannot wait to begin his new experience in Serie A...
Lazio will be playing in the Europa League next season and after securing the permanent transfer of Mauro Zarate have now added Portuguese international winger Eliseu from Malaga to the squad.

The player is obviously pleased by the opportunity as shown by his statements upon arriving in the Italian capital.

"I am very pleased to have arrived at such a prestigious club. I look forward to getting started," he was quoted as saying by Goal.com Italia after landing in Rome's Fiumicino airport yesterday afternoon."

I Have Told Goran Pandev To Stay At Lazio - Mauro Zarate
The Argentinean is trying to convince Pandev to remain at the Olimpico...
Lazio ace Mauro Zarate has revealed that he is trying to convince want-away striker Goran Pandev to stay on at the club.

The Macedonian has been making noise over an exit, but Lazio have maintained they have never put him up for sale. Juventus have been keeping a close eye on Pandev's situation, but Zarate wants the hitman to stay on.

Despite his efforts, Pandev was in no mood to give any clear answers over his future.

"I spoke to Pandev and I asked him to stay," Zarate told Sportmediaset.it.

"Pandev is a great footballer and everyone wants him to continue with Lazio. He didn't give me a response when I asked him."

President Claudio Lotito has already warned that players who rebelled against his wishes and who wanted to leave the club could risk being banished to the bench if they ended up staying. The chief also reiterated that he had never put Pandev up for sale.
